EMD Distribution & Service SAS is a company registered in France and based in Paris Area. EMD specialises in the distribution and exportation of equipment / spare parts (qualified and standard) intended for nuclear power plants.
Emmanuel DING, founder of EMD Distribution & Service SAS, obtained his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Peking University (Beida) in 2003, a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the prestigious French Engineer School « Arts et Métiers ParisTech ». He has over 10 years experience in Supply Chain Management within the nuclear business at ALSTOM POWER France. His expertise covers contract management, lean procurement & logistics process (KPI, dashboard, traceability, etc), legal awareness, supplier relationship management, purchase order expediting and transport & logistics operations, etc. He has a solid nuclear safety culture and a deep knowledge of nuclear quality assurance, equipment classification and inspection process. He had worked on various nuclear EDG and Pumps projects such as : Flamanville 3, Leningrad II, Taishan 1+2, Hongyanhe 1-4, Fangchenggang 1+2, Ningde 1-4, Changjiang 1+2, Tianwan 3+4, etc.
Founded in Match 2017, EMD works directly in partnership with a large number of European manufacturers to offer a competitive price and responsive service to fit customers’ needs on power plant maintenance, resupply and operational needs for spare parts plans, etc.
