PIC Opportunities for Freelance Survey Pilots

As a freelance pilot at Bioflight, you will have the opportunity to act as PIC on our new P68 fleet. You will be responsible for flight planning, communication with clients, and coordination of flight permits in collaboration with our Flight Operations team. The role requires flexibility, strong decision-making skills, dedication, and the ability to stay calm and focused in stressful situations.

At Bioflight, you will become part of our young and dynamic team of 35 employees and gain strong competencies in manual flying, communication, decision-making, and operational planning.

We expect that you:

• Are able to be deployed for periods of up to 4 weeks at a time
• Have a minimum of 200 flight hours
• Are engaged, outgoing, and adaptable
• Can present a clean criminal record
• Have a valid passport
• Hold a valid Medical Class 1
• Hold a valid PART-FCL Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with ATPL frozen theory
• Hold a valid PART-FCL Multi-Engine Piston (Land) with a Multi Engine Instrument Rating
• Hold a valid ICAO English Language Radio Operators Certificate level 5 or higher
• Have completed a Multi Crew Cooperation training course (including CRM training)

It is an advantage if you:
• Are based in Denmark
• Speak a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian)
• Have experience with survey or aerial work operations
• Have experience operating the P68
• Are available for short-notice deployments

Ansvarsområder:

- Fungerer som pilot og operatør i ind- og udland (Hvis du er uddannet pilot)

- Udføre almindelige administrative opgaver såsom telefonbesvarelse og e-mailkorrespondance med kunder, leverandører og piloter.

- Assisterende medarbejdere og ledere med daglige opgaver som kalenderstyring, mødeplanlægning og rapportering samt være ansvarlig for planlægning af kurser og træning af piloter.

- Vedligeholde og organisere filer, dokumenter og databaser.

- Scheduling af piloter i udlandet.

- Hjælpe med at koordinere rejsearrangementer og logistik for piloter.

- Bidrage til kontinuerlig forbedring af administrative processer og procedurer.

- Ansøge diverse flyvetilladelser i samarbejde med kunder.

- Rekruttering af nye piloter i samarbejde med CEO

Kvalifikationer:

- Erfaring med administrative opgaver, ideelt set inden for luftfartsindustrien.

- Fremragende kommunikationsfærdigheder, både skriftligt og mundtligt

- Stærk organisations- og tidsstyringsevne med evnen til at jonglere flere opgaver samtidigt.

- Godt kendskab til Microsoft Office-suite og andre relevante softwareprogrammer

- Evne til at arbejde effektivt både selvstændigt og i et teammiljø.

- Fleksibel og proaktiv med en positiv holdning.

Are you our new skilled Maintenance manager, looking for a challenging leadership role?

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our young dynamic team and oversee the maintenance operations of our company. As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all our aircraft on a daily basic.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance activities which is performed by our subcontractors.
- Set maintenance priorities, assign tasks, and manage work schedules to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize downtime and disruption to operations.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts, equipment, and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of pilots, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics, such as equipment downtime, maintenance costs, and energy consumption, and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks or equipment repairs.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to maintenance operations.
- Ad Hoc flying assignments if a CPL holder.

Requirements:

- Excellent leadership skills.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and the ability to promote a culture of safety.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work on-call or outside regular business hours, as required.
- Previous knowledge in a similar position is not a must. We will give you the necessary training.
- Flying experience is not a must, but a great advantage.

New Adventures!

Dear Friends, Colleagues and Collaborators,

I am excited to share with you that our company is now investigating the posibility of opening a new branch in Australia within the next 8-12 months. This expansion is an important milestone for our organization, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring our products and services to a new market.

Our team has been working hard to ensure a smooth transition, and we are confident that this new venture will be a success. With this new location, we hope to strengthen our presence in the Asia-Pacific region and provide better support to our clients in the area.

In late July, our team will go to Melbourne and participate in AuWE 2023. From there on we will travel the south coast in the pursuit of finding a perfect location for our aircraft to be stationed.

Our new office in Australia will initially receive two brand new P68 Observers which is set to be delivered in Q4 2023.

We understand that opening a new branch comes with its own set of challenges, but we are committed to making this a positive experience for everyone involved. We will keep you updated as we progress through the process, and we welcome any questions or feedback you may have.
