Welcome aboard, China Eastern Airlines

We are delighted to welcome China Eastern Airlines as a new customer to the GIC International Catering family.

On Monday, June 1, we successfully catered our very first China Eastern flight from Frankfurt, marking an important milestone for our entire team.

As one of China’s leading airlines, China Eastern Airlines connects Frankfurt with Shanghai Pudong, one of Asia’s most important international aviation hubs with a B777-300, 9‘times the week.

With its extensive global network and modern long-haul fleet, the airline serves millions of passengers every year.

We look back on a highly successful presence at WTCE – World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo.

Together with our team, we engaged with partners, customers and industry leaders, holding valuable discussions that will translate into concrete opportunities in the near future.

A particular highlight was our exclusive Oyster & Champagne reception, where we celebrated our 25-year anniversary with selected guests and partners in a truly memorable setting.

As a strong conclusion to the event, we are honored to have been named “Airline Caterer of the Year – Europe” at the ‚PAX International & PAX Tech Magazines’ Awards, based on more than 5,000 votes. This recognition reflects the consistent commitment and performance of our entire team.
