We've just got back to the factory after our trip to the USA and we want to answer a few questions we've got about Hugo. Hugo will be coming out mid 2026.
Hugo comes with a full copy of producer that is exactly the same as the desktop version, and will have all the features of the desktop version including unlimited tracks and unlimited plugins. You can play the built in drum machines or synths using the pads or easily sample and loop clips. Record a band or play back tracks easily.
Hugo has extensive DJ features based on Mi###. This includes stems, time code vinyl, One Library / Rekordbox libraries and Pro DJ Link. Beat and key matching.
Hugo has hardware zero latency mixing between all in/outs meaning it can be used as a mixer for all your synths or a switcher for many pedals. You can then reorder those with each patch or change how much is sent to each.
Hugo has all our previous pedals in it, including the modular synthesis environment from Beebo / Hector. Hugo has a new block board application that you can easily arrange a board in, and you can capture amps, gain pedals or reverbs. You can capture using the mic inputs or the built in load box.
Hugo has a live streaming application (OBS) that you can plug multiple cameras into if you want to stream video as well.
You can route any of the applications to any other application so you can have the block application as an insert in the DJ application and route that to Bitwig and streaming or any combo. You can also route to / from any of the audio over ethernet (AES67 / Dante / QSC / Ravenna) channels.
We aim to price at $1999 USD but we'll keeping watching RAM prices.
