📍Nerja is the easternmost town on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga.
While planning a family gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday, we visited the Nerja Caves, then headed to Burriana Beach to watch paella being prepared over an open wood fire, and then enjoyed it along with other freshly prepared fish and seafood specialties.
Finally, we went to the Balcony of Europe in the center of Nerja. Happy travelers from Florida ☀️

We discovered a family owned ecological 🥑🥑🥑avocado and 🥭🥭mango culture and were surprised by all the beauty of the land 🌳🌳and the explanations about the culture of subtropical fruits here on the east coast of Malaga.

From Madrid to Baden-Baden, Germany -
my hometown until 1989 - when I moved to Spain.
On a sunny winter day strolling along the famous Lichtentaler Allee and visiting the historical botanical rose garden created in early 20th century.
Baden-Baden is a beautiful and tranquil city famous for thermal baths of Roman origin, the famous Casino in the “Kurhaus”, considered the most elegant casino in the world. Now in December, the Christmas market is one of its main attractions. Also, the music festivals and the horse races attract visitors from all over the world to visit the city. The Burda Museum performs contemporary Art and - astonishing enough - this city is not overcrowded. Exceptional gastronomy, local wines and the Black Forrest are worthwhile a visit.

Belen del Palacio Real en Madrid

A Nativity in the Royal Palace, Madrid
An 18th century nativity from Naples was brought to Spain by King Charles III and belongs to National Patrimony. Every year they add some details reflecting current actuality. You may visit it from Dec,5th to Jan, 5th, 2026, free admission at the Royal Palace.
