Para la industria de los ...

En mis ánimos eternos de mantenerme siempre aprendiendo, hoy quiero compartir que he terminado mi curso para Agentes de Viajes con la Escuela de Negocios , y actualmente me encuentro cursando todas las rutas de autoformación en el Centro de Aprendizaje de Amadeus.

Mi amor y pasión por el mundo de los viajes y la atención al cliente son mis armas más potentes y estoy ansioso de ponerlas en acción para desarrollar mi carrera profesional como un Agente de Viajes de excelencia.

Mi experiencia acumulada en más de 10 años diseñando programas de excursiones, circuitos, overnights, con alojamientos en alquileres privados y transportación en coches clásicos en es la base y fuerza que me inspira para llevar mi formación a un nivel más elevado, profesional y global.

He quedado prendado con el potencial del , al punto que he visitado algunas oficinas en la ciudad donde resido, , Galicia, para que me permitan ver el sistema en vivo y acelerar mi familiarización con el mismo, pero no me lo han permitido, espero que alguna se brinde a contribuir en mi formación de forma práctica.

Mientras tanto, sigo sumando formaciones en , ya he finalizado 5 de las 35 existentes y voy camino a convertirme en un experto de esta gran plataforma.

Debo decir que el curso con ha sido muy completo, muy informativo en muchísimos temas de materia legal, las estructuras de las agencias de viajes según su personal y crecimiento, así como todos los productos que podemos gestionar desde los Distribuidores Globales para ofrecerle a los clientes los mejores paquetes, precios, ya sea de modo personal, para grupos, eventos, viajes de negocios, etc. Recomiendo esta formación con al 100 x 100.

A cruel reality that took us again by surprise, just like it happened after the 90's, when the soviets collapsed.

So many lessons I can gather out of this!

I Just keep on praying to see my loving island flourish again, with love, unity, development and higher standards of living.

I'm also encouraging our customers worldwide to visit Cuba soon as it's possible and safe, but this time, I urge you to come with that mindset of giving support, of sharing a little bit of love and hope with my people.

Hey hey, It's Yofren here...

The City of my life! I couldn't even dare to call her any less.

Even though I wasn't born there, that's where my life was dealt with its best cards.

I got there in 1995 to study in University to never ever leave again until I left Cuba in 2019.

There was no tour I would enjoy more than this one or made me feel so passionate, and I have to say and many of you know I am passionate about everything Cuba, but it was here where I learned to love her, to look at her and feel her as if it was my own skin.

Known by three seudonyms, it's one of those cities you won't see until you capture her, and it's because of her, not you, because she's only willing to show to those who come to appreciate her.

The first seudonym was ¨The Venice of America¨. Crazy as it may seem, the core of the city was built between two rivers, therefore, since the early times, even before the city was founded, the aboriginals used to sail their canoes up and down the river, and after it was built, bigger boats would constantly be coming back and forth bringing as much wood as possible from the rich forests upstream to build up the city.

The second one, ¨The City of Bridges¨, given because of the 30+ bridges that have been built all over the city, and not only downtown, that's why many of them are rarely seen. However, we have 5 of them which are centenaries right now, some of them are shown in the pictures below, and one of them is the Concordia Bridge, called like this because it was finished the same year that the first war of independence against Spain was finished, in 1878, so it was a time of peace and concord, but this bridge that joins Versalles neighborhood with the rest of the city was originally built in 1732, with wood and limestone, which was not strong enough to resist the storms and hurricanes we would often get.

And last but not least, ¨The Athens of Cuba¨, perhaps the most reknown of them all, due to the cultural movement developed in the city during the 1800's, where literature, dance and music were at its highest.

Just to give you some hints, Perez Prado, the king of Mambo, was born in Matanzas; the national dance of Cuba, the Danzón, which derived from the counterdance, was born in Matanzas, created by Miguel Faílde in 1879, today, his grandson continues the tradition and has teamed up other young musicians to defend that gendre. José White, a worldwide known afrocuban violin player in the 1800's, was also born in our city. La Rumba, a mix of african rhythms, chants and columbia was born here as well.

Regarding literature, I would be unfair if I begin naming writers and poets of the time, because they were so many, so I will only bring one to the table, and he was José Jacinto Milanés, who didn't live long but his work granted him immortality in our city by naming one of its main streets after him as well as the most important library of the province.

There's way more than this in our city, but you will only see it if you look at it from your heart.

We would be thrilled to show you around this princess anytime soon when traveling is safe, but in the meantime, I just want you to keep her in your mind for that day you come, or even to recommebd it to those you know will be visiting us.

Yofren here...

First day of 2021! Thank you all of you guys for all these years of being here in this humble group.

I love my group! I love my clients, some of you have built really strong bounds with me, my friends and even family.

I am always open to growth, and all of you have contributed to my personal growth whether you believe it or not. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

My life's journey has been a really interesting one, and with ups and downs together, I am the result of each of my experiences, and you guys are an indisoluble part of my experiences.

I come from a humble family, from a little town in the middle of nowhere, some of you have had the privilege to visit that little town called Torriente, where my mother and sister lived until 2010, when I was able to buy a house in Matanzas city, the capital of the province.

I've worked hard, I still do. I love work because that's a passion I have, but every time I see it more clearly. I've always wanted to live a meaningful life and boy have I gone through powerful transformations in my life!!! My passion is serving others, doesn't matter how, but serving others.

During my years in Cuba, my mission was to secure my family's life and future of my children, have a home to call my own and educate my kids. It took me years to build that home, and I built it thanks to the tours you all booked with Cuba Por Favor. This is why I tell you all the time how grateful to you all I am.

But now the mission is bigger, my ambitions are higher and I still need your support to accomplish them.

Today my country is suffering big time, and we all have a way to help and support. I promise you that as I am writing these words, my heart is ponding because I don't know how some of you are going to see this post, but I assure you is coming from my heart.

I am sure you would understand if I don't run this business anymore, since I am not in Cuba and whatever money this business can make, can also be made here with a job, but that would be selfish of me.

Today, my mission is to support cuban families by providing our services as tour guides, some of you dind't tour with me and yet you are here in my group, because I have been very selective with the human quality of the tour guides who've worked with my clients. I have tried my best to educate them not only on the knowledge base of this work, which is huge per se, but also on the human aspect of building a reputation with not what we do but how we do it.

Behind the scenes I've had great arguments with drivers and tour guides whose performance have been unprofessional, and I have given them the chance to understand my point of view regarding their functions. Many of these drivers and tour guides never studied to be professionals at what they're doing, but they are doing it, so if you're doing this work for your own satisfaction and not to satisfy our customers, then you can not be part of my team. Simple as that. I like to overdeliver, because I have been over blessed, so I have a responsibility.

Bottom line is to ask for your continued support when traveling to Cuba becomes a conversation matter in your environment. Right now, traveling is opening little by little, and I urge you to be really cautious if you are going to throw yourself in any traveling adventure, but when the time is right again, and traveling is safe again, I want you to start recommending our services as GREAT AMBASSADORS of Cuba Por Favor.

Understand that when a tour guide is making a living in such a nice business like this we do, he or she is never making money for him or herself, because we always help other members of the family, so I want you to understand the great impact that you can have by recommending or continue to book tours with us.

As you know, I have been studying marketing here in Spain and I have resources now to build better strategies to reach more people without having to be on the computer or the phone all day long. A new website will be built, with email sequences to add as much value to our product as we can. A chat sequence has been built as well and it is already on the description of the Group's cover picture, and I'd like you to try it out and give me feedback on it, how to make it better and easier for you to book your tours with us. With the new website we will start getting online payments, but I have to make some adjustments as I want that money to go to Cuba and not to Spain, so as you can see, we have a purpose here, and we can all be part of something beautiful and good at the same time.

I hope I can count on you for this, because without you, there'll be no Cuba por Favor Tour Company.

If I could get one word or phrase of approval from you all, my year will have the best starting point ever!
