That small gap at the bottom of your panel frame? It's working harder than you think.

The ABS water drainage clip attaches to the lower edge of each PV module — 2 per panel. It breaks the surface tension that traps water and mud along the frame, letting siphon action carry everything cleanly away.

Without it: stagnant water, mud buildup, soiling loss.
With it: self-draining panels after every rain, less shading, longer frame life.

Available in 30 / 33 / 35 / 40mm frame sizes. Snap-on. No tools. 8-10g per clip.
Small accessory. Real impact on a 25-year system.

In Category 5 typhoon zones, solar mounting failure is not a maintenance issue. It is a catastrophe.

The Philippines, Vietnam, and Taiwan sit in wind design zone C1 under JIS C 8955 and ASCE 7-16 — the highest wind load classification for solar installations. Sustained winds exceeding 250 km/h. Salt spray from the coastline. Cyclical loading as successive storm bands pass through.

At these sites, structural analysis is not optional. Every column base reaction, every purlin connection, every anchor bolt must be calculated for loads that designers in lower-risk regions never encounter. ZAM coating is specified — not suggested — because standard galvanizing is insufficient for the combined coastal and storm corrosion environment.

What separates a solar farm that survives a typhoon from one that becomes a pile of bent steel is engineering discipline applied before the storm arrives. Procurement shortcuts made at the factory become structural failures on site.

Solaracks provides load calculations and SAP2000 structural analysis for high-wind-zone installations. If your project is in the Philippines, Vietnam, or Taiwan, send us the site data.

ZAM coating, zinc-aluminum-magnesium, is increasingly specified for solar mounting in coastal and high-humidity environments.

Standard hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) protects steel with a zinc layer that sacrificially corrodes over time. In salt spray or coastal conditions, that protection is consumed faster. For a 25-year solar installation, early-stage corrosion on structural members creates maintenance liability.

ZAM changes the chemistry. The addition of aluminum and magnesium to the zinc bath creates a dense, self-healing barrier at cut edges and scratches. This is the failure point for standard HDG: every cut edge is a potential corrosion initiation site. ZAM's self-healing mechanism addresses this directly.

Test results under ISO 9227 salt spray testing show ZAM outperforming standard HDG by 10 to 20 times in time-to-red-rust.

For EPC teams specifying foundations, cable trays, walkways, or racking in the Philippines, Vietnam, coastal Latin America, or the Gulf, ZAM is not an optional premium. It is the correct structural specification for the environment.

Nearly 1 MWp. One industrial rooftop. Fully engineered.

This project delivers 937.44 kWp of grid-tied clean energy for a large-scale industrial facility. Trina Solar panels. Huawei inverters. Solaracks mounting hardware holding it all together.

Industrial rooftops carry real structural demands: wide spans, heavy loads, complex surfaces, and zero tolerance for installation errors. A near-1 MWp system cannot afford shortcuts at the mounting level.

Solaracks engineered rooftop racking was deployed across the full installation footprint, precision-designed, structurally validated, and installed efficiently by the EPC team. Every bracket, rail, and clamp was matched to the roof type and load requirements.

The result: a reliable, long-life solar installation built to generate clean power for decades.

This is what "Be Supported" means in practice. Not just a product, but a complete engineering and supply partnership from quote to commissioning.

Your parking lot is working against you.

❌ Pain #1 — Too Tight
Standard stalls max out at 2,200 mm. Barely enough room to open a door. Every visit is a scratch risk.

❌ Pain #2 — Zero Protection
No roof means full sun exposure, acid rain, and bird droppings. Paint oxidizes. Rubber seals crack. Getting in feels like climbing into an oven.

The fix is right overhead.

A Solaracks Solar Carport gives you:
- 2,500–2,700 mm bay width — room to breathe
- 2,500 mm clearance height
- Solar panels that block sun and rain while generating electricity — for revenue or as backup power storage

Your parking asset should work for you, not against you.

Every commercial building has one: a parking lot canopy. It keeps cars shaded, handles weather, and for decades has been doing nothing else.

Now imagine every one of those canopies generating clean energy for the building it serves.

A solar carport does exactly that. The structural logic is identical to a conventional carport: columns, beams, a weather-resistant roof. The only difference is what the roof is made of.

For EPC teams and facilities managers, a solar carport turns parking infrastructure into a revenue-generating asset. It shades vehicles, reduces building cooling loads, and can integrate EV charging, all from a structure that would have been built anyway.

The question is not whether the parking lot needs a canopy. The question is why that canopy is not generating power yet.

Ground screws eliminate concrete from solar installations. No curing time. Fully reversible. 50-year underground galvanized spec.

Concrete foundations remain the default for many solar ground mount projects. That default costs 3 to 7 days of curing time before structural loads can be applied. On large installations, that schedule risk is real — particularly during wet seasons or compressed project timelines.

Ground screws (helical piles) change the equation. A hydraulic pile driver mounts to an excavator and installs each pile in minutes. The team can begin racking the same day. No water, no mixing, no waiting.

The reversibility argument matters most for agrivoltaic projects. Agricultural land used for solar does not need to be permanently committed. Ground screws are fully extractable — pull them out after the 25-year panel lifecycle and return the field to farming. No concrete slab to break out, no land permanently altered.

The pile itself is hot-dip galvanized to a spec that exceeds 50 years of below-grade service life. The material is engineered for the environment no one sees but everyone depends on.

The number on an aluminum alloy spec sheet is not marketing. It is the evidence that your 25-year asset was built on the right structural foundation.

Solaracks mounting rails are made from 6005-T5 aluminum — not generic extrusion-grade alloy. The distinction matters more than most procurement checklists acknowledge.

Per GB/T5237.1-2017, 6005-T5 requires a minimum tensile strength of 260 MPa and yield strength of 240 MPa. Our certified production test results consistently exceed this: 288 MPa tensile strength, 256 MPa yield strength, and 10.5% elongation against an 8% minimum requirement.

That margin is the result of controlled Si and Mg content and strict temper processing. It makes 6005-T5 the right material for long-span carport beams, elevated mounting systems, and any project where wind exposure or span length pushes the limits of standard section sizes.

The alloy number on the material certificate is not a formality. It is the number that determines whether the structure stands quietly for 25 years — or doesn't.

Your solar project doesn't end with the racking.

For C&I rooftop installations, Solaracks delivers a complete one-stop solution — not just the mounting structure, but everything that goes alongside it:

✅ Safety guardrails — HDG steel or FRP, two-rail system, non-penetrating roof mount
✅ Maintenance walkways — anti-slip perforated plank (HDG) or safety yellow FRP grating
✅ Cable trays & trunking — open mesh basket or snap-on covered, galvanized steel

That means one supplier to coordinate, one technical team for the full system design, and one shipment to manage.

HDG Steel Guardrail + Walkway System: hot-dip galvanized square steel sections, perforated anti-slip plank grating, diagonal outrigger braces — built for long-term outdoor durability.

FRP Guardrail + Yellow Walkway System: fiber reinforced polymer, fully corrosion-proof, non-conductive, lightweight — ideal for coastal, chemical, or high-humidity environments.
