Mexico’s busiest port is at a standstill again.
Since Nov. 24, the Port of Manzanillo has stopped receiving inbound cargo trucks due to a major strike and blockade — affecting around 4,000 truck trips every day.
The protest has spread from highways to the port, disrupting supply chains, cross-border trade, food distribution and e-commerce deliveries across Mexico.
The blockade is expected to continue indefinitely, meaning delays could get worse.
