How to achieve a clean glass façade without visible aluminum frames
More and more high rise projects are moving toward hidden frame curtain wall systems. Not only for the look, but for performance and long term reliability
What we usually focus on in this type of system is not just the appearance, but how everything works together on site
The slim sightlines help maximize transparency and give a more premium façade feeling, especially for office towers and residential buildings with city views
The hidden vent sash is one of the key parts. It allows natural ventilation while keeping the façade consistent from the outside, which many architects care about
For the glass configuration, we normally go with insulated Low E glass like 6 plus 12A plus 6, balancing thermal insulation and acoustic performance
Water management is also critical. A pressure equalized drainage design helps the system stay stable even in heavy rain or coastal environments
All main structures are based on 6063 T6 aluminum, which gives enough strength for high rise applications and long term durability
We have used similar systems in office buildings, apartments, and public projects where both design and performance matter
If you are working on a façade project, feel free to share your drawings. Happy to take a look and discuss a suitable solution
