Full day today! Started at Hollywood Studios with the Tower of Terror and ended the night at Epcot watching Luminous. Thor once again messed with our golf game but at least he did it early enough for us to pivot quickly! Even got some pool time! Here’s a few picks. I’ll do a larger trip recap when it’s over!

First full day! Started with breakfast at Tusker House, then did almost everything in Animal Kingdom before scrambling to make our tee time at Magnolia.

Unfortunately, Thor had other ideas and we had a massive lightning delay so we rescheduled for Sunday.

Pivoted and headed to Disney Springs for food and shopping then ended the night with the Muppets and Fantasmic! Fun was had!

It was a rough travel day thanks to the massive storms near Toronto, but after 25 hours straight in airports or on airplanes, I made it to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! After a short visit to Galaxy’s Edge, I ran into this guy having a Pajama Party!

I’ve been fortunate to travel a bit over the years and Walt Disney World is really one of my favourite spots. One of the reasons is that it is so flexible! Different resorts, restaurants, shops, attractions that allow lots of variety in travelling parties. In the past 18 years, my wife have gone with our children when they were 4 and 7 and when they were 13 and 16, 15 and 18, 18 and 21 AND 21 and 24! Plus my parents joined us a few times and Erin’s sister and her family and their mom made us a group of 12 one time.

We have also gone with my aunt and uncle and by ourselves once. However, the trip that starts today is different from them all! Erin and her sisters are in BC for a girls weekend so the three husbands are doing a WDW golf trip (parks, food and beverages as well of course)!

I am currently in the Orlando airport waiting for one of my travelling partners to arrive. I’m sitting in a rocking chair looking at this fountain! Pretty nice for an airport!

Even though it felt like 50 C yesterday, remember that it felt like -50 C less than 6 months ago. Now is the perfect time to start thinking about a winter vacation! There are some great deals on All Inclusives and Cruises, but you could also consider visiting Universal Florida during the holidays. If you love the Grinch and the Whos, the Macy balloon or seeing the decorations in Hogsmead and Diagon Alley, you will love it!
