Yesterday, we wrapped up our summer adventures to Warren with an epic Heroes vs. Villains showdown! 🦸‍♀️🦹‍♂️

From princesses and superheroes to some seriously devious villains, it was the perfect way to close out an incredible summer of themed train rides.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the summer, dressed up, played along, laughed with us, and helped make each ride so memorable!

We had an epic crew join us aboard the train tonight… Ash, Misty, Brock, Team Rocket, and of course, Pikachu himself! 👀

We were SO excited to make our comeback to Warren, and your community welcomed us with open arms. Thank you to everyone who came out, dressed up, sang along, caught Pokémon and made tonight such a fun one!

We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait for the next few rides to Warren!

Meet some the faces behind the train!

There are a lot of people who make the Prairie Dog Central Railway happen, and we’re going to start introducing you to some of the crew who help keep the train rolling!

First up: Ed & Mark. 👋

Ed joined the us 8 years ago and brings an incredible 48 years of railroading experience from his time with CP and GWWD. He wears many hats around the railway including conductor, engineer/driver and Track Maintenance Supervisor. Ed is also known for his friendly smile, his willingness to chat with passengers and his passion for sharing his knowledge and stories.

Mark has been part of our crew on and off since the 1980s. After 46 years with CN as an engineer and later an instructor at the CN campus, he now brings that wealth of experience to our team as our Safety Officer. Mark is known for his witty sense of humour, his big contagious smile, and his out-going personality.

Together, Ed and Mark bring 94 years of railroad experience to the Prairie Dog Central. But what makes them such an important part of our crew goes beyond the number… they’re knowledgeable, dedicated, and always willing to share their experience with the people around them.

They’re the kind of people who help make the PDC more than just a train ride. Their passion for the railway, their stories and their commitment to keeping the train rolling are a huge part of what makes the Prairie Dog Central special.

We’re incredibly lucky to have them apart of our team.

And there are plenty more faces to meet… stay tuned! 👀

SUPERHERO SUNDAY!

Another SOLD OUT train for Superhero Sunday aboard Prairie Dog Central! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

We were joined by some incredible heroes, including Supergirl, Batman, Spider-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Wolverine and Storm!

The train was filled with so many little superheroes, dressed up as their favourite characters and ready for an unforgettable adventure.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and made Superhero Sunday so special. We loved seeing all the smiles, costumes and superhero spirit on board!
