Many people ask me why I don’t edit or use filters my photos. I know these edits make lash photos look more appealing, but they’re honestly not my thing.

I like posting r e a l results and very much value a u t h e n t i c i t y

Whenever I use Facetune or Airbrush to fix any “imperfections” I feel my work is no longer mine 😣

I truly value transparency and want my clients to not feel misled or confused on what they can expect their lash sets to look like

Hi lovelies🤍

With my recent shift in content, I thought I’d reintroduce myself 🫶

My name is Julissa & I have been a lash tech for 9 years 🤭

My journey started when I was just 16 years old & took my first lash course📚🎓

It took me a long time to gain confidence in my work. Like many baby techs, I wondered if I’d ever be able to increase my speed, create volume fans with ease, or get any consistent clients.

Despite the learning curve, I kept going. I had too many ideas that could not go ignored💭

These ideas gave me purpose. I knew that if I could perfect my skills & bring these ideas to life, I’d be able to help countless people fall in love with themselves and feel even more confident 🩷

Since I started my business, I had a lot more late nights and early mornings (and never enough coffee)😵‍💫

My clients & their kind hearts always reinforced my passion for the beauty industry & gave my the courage to persevere 🫂

Every time I saw the smiles on my clients faces, I remembered exactly why I started this business.

My approach has always been centered around enhancing the naturally beautiful features that my clients already have, ensuring they leave their appointments feeling confident, glowy and beautiful 🎀

Outside of doing lashes, I love yoga, self-care dates, restaurant hopping & going on mini side quests with my sweet 10 yr old shih tzu, Lucy🐶✨

I recently realized how much I love sharing these experiences with others

Whenever I’d tell my clients about a new restaurant I tried or about my selfcare dates, they’d always ask me for the link to the business’ social media 📲🎞️

By rebranding my business & vlogging about my day, I have been able to connect more with my clients & refer them to businesses that will also put a smile on their faces🙌

I’m turning 24 this year & can confidently say that this industry has shaped me in such a beautiful way💐

I have gained countless skills, made so many friends & built something that I am truly proud of🥲

If a volume set isn’t both full AND fluffy, then it’s a waste of money 🗣️

On numerous occasions, I have stressed how important it is for lash techs to fill in 100% of their clients’ natural lashes. While this is key to ensuring they have good retention, it is just as important for lash techs to ensure they are using lash trays that help them create fluffy, even fans🧑‍🎨

If you are struggling to make fans, it is very likely that there is a manufacturing issue with the brand producing your trays.

It shouldn’t take 3-4 attempts for you to create a symmetrical lash fan. This means there is an issue with either your tweezers, or most likely, your lash trays.

When I was first certified, my trainer had given me a training kit with all her lash trays. Long story short, the trays were garbage. For so long I thought I was the problem and taking a longer time to learn how to fan than others. BUT after using a different company’s lash trays, I was able to create fans with ease and quickly increase my speed. ⚡️

I truly want to help other beginner lash techs avoid this by recommending and endorsing HIGH QUALITY lash products that are worth your $$$

By using products from brands like , I have been able to create the prettiest and most symmetrical fans with EASE.

My client decided to switch to lengths 12mm on the putter corners of her eyes and she looks stunning 🤩

Shorter lengths tend to add more fullness to your sets because they’re more dense than longer lengths 😗

If you’re seeking a set that has more density and fullness, then I def recommend opting for shorter volume sets 🫶🏻
