The Flames are in town on a Wednesday. You are not leaving that one early.

The Oilers host the Flames at Rogers Place on Wednesday, October 28. It is the one game on the calendar nobody walks out of with time on the clock — and it lands on a work night, with the morning coming for most of the building.

So stay for all of it. Your driver is outside when the horn goes, the group walks out together into a vehicle that is already warm, and the postmortem starts on black leather instead of in a stairwell. Nobody has to hold back, nobody is watching the time, and everybody is home at a decent hour.

Leafs are in town. Have you seen the lots on a night like that?

The Flames host the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Saddledome on Monday, October 26 — the one visiting crowd that fills Stampede Park end to end. Half the building travels in for it, and every lot around the grounds knows it.

Let your driver deal with the approach. You step out at the doors on black leather, coat still buttoned, twenty minutes ahead of the people still hunting a spot on Macleod. Afterwards the white Suburban is waiting where you left it, the group climbs in warm, and the drive home is for arguing about the officiating.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Today the table gets crowded. Somebody's kitchen fills with more people than it was built for. The good conversations start once everyone is in the same room. We hope yours is full of the people you wanted to see.

We're grateful to every family across Calgary, Edmonton and Central Alberta who trusted us with a drive this year. Game nights. Airport runs. Weddings. The long dark drives home in February.

Text Leon at 14033183847 whenever you need us. Today, sit down and stay a while.

Four friends, one ABBA night. Who gets stuck driving?

Always ABBA plays the Red Deer Memorial Centre on Saturday, October 24. It is a downtown hall on a Saturday night, which means the good street spots go to whoever arrived at supper time — and the rest of you walk in the cold.

Book the ride and the whole night changes shape. Everyone gets collected at their own door, everyone gets dropped at the entrance, and the w**e at dinner beforehand belongs to all four of you. Settle onto black leather in the white Suburban, sing the whole way home, and let your driver sort out the one-way streets downtown.

UB40 is out at Grey Eagle. Who's driving back into the city?

UB40 brings The Unstoppable Tour to the Grey Eagle Event Centre on Wednesday, October 14. The room sits well southwest of Calgary, so every ticket comes with a highway run home in the dark — and a reggae crowd that plans on a drink.

Your driver handles that stretch while you stay in the moment. Slide into the black Cadillac, seats warm, the set list still going in your head. Have the second round with dinner. Let somebody else watch the road, the weather and the turnoff, and walk through your own front door still talking about the show.

Who's driving home after the Rebels game?

The Rebels host the Edmonton Oil Kings at the Marchant Crane Centrium on Monday, October 12 — Thanksgiving Monday, when the family is already together and the Westerner Park lots fill long before the first whistle.

Picture your whole group in one vehicle instead of three, the white Suburban pulling up to the doors while everyone else circles the grounds. Your driver knows the site. The kids pile in, the grandparents settle onto black leather in the back, and the argument about that third-period goal carries the whole way home. One trip out, one trip back, nobody watching the clock.

Agatha Christie at the Citadel. A parkade mystery you don't need to solve.

The Citadel Theatre's mainstage production of "Murder on the Orient Express" runs through mid-October, drawing a dressed-up downtown crowd for dinner and a show on some of the busiest theatre nights of the fall. Structured parking near the Citadel fills early, and a late curtain call means a long walk back through downtown after dark.

Your driver drops the group right at the door and is waiting again once the mystery wraps. Settle into the black Cadillac's leather seats on the way in, skip the search for a downtown stall, and let the conversation about who did it carry all the way home instead of getting lost in traffic. A classic Christie mystery on a major regional stage is worth an evening that stays effortless from curtain to close.

A Sunday matinee shouldn't end with a search for the car.

The Edmonton Symphony brings "Beethoven & Vivaldi" to the Francis Winspear Centre for Music in early October — a downtown afternoon program that regularly stretches into dinner plans afterward. Parkades near the Winspear fill fast even on a weekend, and downtown traffic makes the drive home longer than the concert felt.

Your driver drops the group right at the door and is waiting again whenever the afternoon wraps, whether that's straight after the final movement or after dinner downtown. Settle into the black Cadillac's leather seats, skip circling for a stall near the Winspear, and turn a classical afternoon into an easy day trip from Central Alberta instead of a driving errand with a concert in the middle.

Text Leon at 14033183847 and reserve your ride for the Symphony.

NHL season is back in both cities. So is the fight for arena parking.

The Edmonton Oilers open their season at Rogers Place, and two days later the Calgary Flames drop the puck on their own home opener at the Scotiabank Saddledome — the corridor's two biggest arenas both filling to near-capacity within 48 hours of each other. Downtown parking around either building disappears fast on opening night, and the walk back afterward, in a fall-evening crowd this size, isn't a short one.

Wherever your season starts, your driver handles the arena traffic while you settle into the white Suburban with the group. Skip the structured-parkade scramble in Edmonton or the Saddledome lot crush in Calgary, and let the night stay about the game instead of the drive home. Whichever home opener you're catching first, one call gets the ride sorted.

Text Leon at 14033183847 and reserve your ride for opening night, in either city.

Another night at the Jack Singer. Another parkade puzzle downtown.

The Calgary Philharmonic brings "The Music of John Williams" to the Jack Singer Concert Hall at Arts Commons this September — a downtown evening program that draws a crowd well past a normal weeknight rush hour. Parkades near Arts Commons fill early, and traffic downtown makes the drive home longer than the concert felt.

Your driver drops the group right at the doors and is waiting again after the final note. Settle into the black Cadillac's leather seats, skip the search for a downtown stall, and let the score keep playing in your head on the ride home instead of fighting traffic out of the core. A program built entirely around film's most recognizable music deserves an evening that stays effortless start to finish.

Text Leon at 14033183847 and reserve your ride for the Calgary Phil.
