Your cluttered bedroom is making you crazy! 🤪
Not only does it look bad, but your cluttered bedroom is contributing to poor sleep quality 😖, and higher levels of cortisol 🤯.
Here are some key areas to keep tidy, and have you counting 💤 in no time🌛!
🪑Avoid piling up clothing on “the chair”.
✅Opt for some hooks on the door to hang up those items that are not quite dirty enough for the hamper yet not quite clean enough to go back in the closet.
🛌Clear off your nightstand. Nightstands often become a dumping ground for receipts, old medications and little bits of broken jewelry.
✅Use a drawer organizer in your nightstand so that everything has a place.
🚪Closets are often a big source of stress in the home.
✅Do your best to keep it tidy, and if you’re struggling, at least make sure that you can close the door so that it’s not visually in your line of sight when you go to sleep.
💨It doesn’t help to have a fan blowing to regulate temperature and provide white noise if you’re going to be waking up with congestion and have difficulty breathing at night.
✅Keep your room free from dust and other allergens. A decluttered room is easier to clean.
💡Light sources can be considered clutter too.
✅Make sure to have some low or dimmable lights available so that you can start your wind down process the hour before you get ready for sleep.
