Looks like it’s big boat week for me this week. Installing a bow thruster on this Carver.

Long day of grinding and sanding. Prep work almost done. Fiberglass work starting soon then this bayliner will be back together and ready for the water before you know it Stay tuned.

Bow all glassed and sealed up. Nice thick layer of gel coat applied. Next step is anti fouling paint.

Well well well word of advice. When looking for a boat and the seller says it was a small crack that he had repaired (with carbon fiber) so it’s extra strong.

And that’s a wrap. Bow thruster fiberglassed in. Was a bit tricky but got her done. Fiberglass in. Grind off excess fill in to make nice and smooth gel coat and then bottom paint and done. Now it’s all about installing the thruster motor. @ Scarborough Bluffs
