Throughout April, Mega Cranes completed a multi-phase rooftop unit replacement at Landmark Cinemas in Surrey, BC — all while the theatre stayed fully operational.

Over 5 carefully coordinated phases, our team utilized 4 different cranes to remove and install 11 rooftop units — with every lift completed before noon to keep disruptions to a minimum. Huge shoutout to the team for another job well done!

Our LTM1090-4.2 recently completed a 16,000 lb pipe lift near Boundary Bay in Delta, BC.

With a large open excavation limiting setup options, our team utilized the crane's vario-base system to safely position and execute the lift. Nearby high-voltage power lines added another layer of complexity, making careful planning and precise ex*****on essential.

A great example of teamwork, seamless ex*****on and problem-solving in action. Well done, team!

🔷Nothing beats a crawler mobe on a beautiful sunny day!🔶

🔷 🔶 This jobsite located right along Fraser Highway brought to the table some challenges including limited space, live traffic, bus stops & pedestrian traffic, although the Mega crew did a great job having the entire crawler assembled in a single day. The LTM 1090-4.2 proved to be a great assist crane taking full advantage of vario base. We needed to allow trucks to pass by the crane on the narrow platform, therefore "short rigging" the outriggers slightly on one side gave us the space to pull trucks right alongside the 100 Ton crane.🔷 🔶

🔸🔹 Exciting news, the new LTM 1150-5.3 has arrived to our Surrey depot and has completed the three-day commissioning. We are just putting some final touches on the boom dolly and it will be going out on its maiden voyage shortly....speaking of ship references, we have just received our first look at the second brand new crane joining Mega Cranes fleet.

The LTM 1090-4.2!

This crane will be up to the challenge of Vancouver's tricky job sites. With a compact four axle carrier, 197' of main boom and lifting capacities up to 110Tons, this crane is equipped to handle almost any task thrown its way.

The wait is coming to an end! Our brand new LTM-1150 5.3 is getting ready to board the ship and head home! We are very excited to put this impressive machine to work. With 217' of main boom, it will be very handy in the lower mainland's challenging jobsites.
