Villeneuve Airport CZVL (Villeneuve Airport) was built by Transport Canada in 1976 as a reliever airport for Edmonton. Edmonton Airports purchased CZVL in 2000.

While the full identity of Kelsey Firkus 's favorite Major will be kept out, he did sign the skid, earning him the callsign "Skidmark" - a callsign to be proud of. :) It was almost as good as his crewmate, "Rescue" Dave.

We are going to have to cancel the Villeneuve Fly In that we had been working on for September 7th.

Circumstances within the Museum, staff missing due to family emergencies and other issues have not made it practical to do properly and I believe we need to do it right or not at all.

We will revisit over the winter/spring and target (2) dates with sufficient lead time to do it right regardless of outside influences.

The Fly In at Villeneuve scheduled for August 17th has been delayed while some administrative issues are being sorted out.

A new date in early September will be announced shortly
