Stratford and District Leisure Activity Council

Stratford and District Leisure Activity Council An association whose members are focused on Leisure Activities in and for the community. As well, it offers funding for projects of its membership.

The Council produces two Leisure Activity Handbooks per year for distribution to Stratford residents, a monthly Leisure Activity Calendar for distribution to families via the local schools. Membership is available at two levels - Full and Affiliate. Complete details are available on the web site at yourlac.ca.

Goals of the Council are:
•support a variety of activities for the benefit of the community;
•inform the community of events planned, individually and collaboratively, by its members;
•provide a forum for its members to share program information, resources and explore areas of mutual interest;
•promote the concept that physical activity, educational opportunities and community involvement are vital to a healthy and vibrant community.
