Experienced Excavator Operator
Ferris Trucking & Excavating is currently seeking a full-time experienced heavy equipment operator to join our team. Minimum 3 years’ experience – all other applications will not be considered.

Qualifications Include:
• 3 years minimum experience in commercial, industrial, and residential
foundation excavation, site grading, slab on grade prep, demolition, sewer,
water and septic system installation.
• Must have a valid G driver’s license as well as a clean driver’s abstract, and
criminal check.
• Must have reliable vehicle for transportation throughout the Georgian
Triangle.
• Ability to read plans and calculate elevations.
• Be able to perform daily maintenance on equipment.
• Ability to work independently or as a part of a team and follow instruction.
• Be knowledgeable about construction safety and follow ALL workplace safety
protocols.
• Capability and willingness to perform labor duties, lay pipe, shoot grade, and
do what it takes to complete projects.

Preference will be given to candidates with WHMIS certification, First Aid
Certification, and an ability to operate different types of equipment as well as level of mechanical inclination. This is a full-time, seasonal position running from the beginning of April through to the end of the year annually, with competitive wages.
General weekly hours are 50-60 hours per week with a willingness to work
Saturdays when required. Pay range of $25-$35 per hour based upon skill set.
