Bishop Bay Hot Springs. We loved the hot springs, so nice on a rainy day. We didn’t love the anchorage. It’s very deep with a rocky bottom so the anchor did not set well. We were thrown out of bed at 530 in the morning by the anchor alarm. We’d dragged and were nearly sitting ashore. Very quickly we pulled in the stern line and the anchor and got to safety in the middle of the bay. Lessons learned when considering an anchorage in a deep bay. Would most definitely come back for the hot springs.
