MINI-GREENHOUSES FOR SALE - MAKE US AN OFFER - AVAILABLE THIS WEEKEND!

We hope everyone is coping okay with this chilly spring weather - looks like warm weather is on the horizon though finally! We miss you this year but are still very happy with our decision to take a break for the season.

Long time followers might remember our table-top greenhouses/cold frames that we used in Robyn's yard to grow some of our plants. We are currently looking for new homes for these because Robyn is moving to a different house where they won't fit.

The table dimensions are 8 ft by 3 ft and when the lid is closed, can accommodate 12 inch height in the front and 18 inches in the back. The front panel hinges down when the lid is open. These were custom built to hold 12 standard sized seedling trays, so if you are looking for an ergonomic backyard workspace to kick start your own garden starting you may want to snap one of these up! We have two immediately available and one more will be available for pickup by early July.

We are open to reasonable offers! These don't come with assembly instructions (we will provide several pictures and videos), and are not guaranteed to last forever but have at least a couple years of life left if they are put in storage during the winter. Pickup is in Stonebridge and you will need to bring a truck or trailer! Please message Robyn (account linked in comments) for more info if you are interested.

2024 we are pushing pause.

These last 3 years running Bergamot & Basil have been incredible! We loved meeting all of you and have learned so much, and it has meant the world to us that so many of you have come back and bought plants from us year after year. ♥️ We have made the difficult decision to hit pause for the 2024 season. With both of us having active toddlers at home now, it is going to be a year of prioritizing family time and we are so excited. Please keep following us on social media or our Substack newsletter for any updates about our future as a business.

We are sharing this news early as right now it is prime seed ordering time! If there are any plants you’ve loved buying from us and want to try growing yourself this year, grab those seeds now. We typically source from Richter’s Herbs, West Coast Seeds, and William Dam, but if there is something in particular you’re trying to track down please let us know.

Headed out of town for the weekend with a scorching forecast? Put a couple inches of water in a paddling pool and pop your plants in. *tip. Don’t get too crazy with how deep you fill it 2-3 inches should be good.

That's a wrap on our season, folks! We are sold out of plants and we want to thank you so much for supporting us this year. Please send us photos of your gardens as they progress over the summer, we love to see your successes and would love to share them!

Come see us tomorrow for our final day of the season and the opening day of Gather Local Market! The lineup of vendors looks amazing and yes the fruit truck will be there!! It's going to be a beautiful day in downtown Saskatoon, you don't want to miss out.

Last day to preorder for the season! We are SOLD OUT of Customer Appreciation Surprise Packs, but there is still time to order a custom pack of 6 plants for $20. If you want something specific this is the way to go to make sure we don't sell out before you get to the market on Saturday.

It's a good day to show you what lemon bergamot looks like when in bloom! There is a reason we are obsessed with this plant and try to get everyone who stops by our stall to buy it! It's gorgeous to look at and to smell, it blooms for weeks on end, and attracts every type of pollinator imaginable to your yard. It is part of our business name because it's one of our all-time favourite herbs and we hope we've made it some of yours too!

Tomorrow is our final weekend at the Broadway location in front of Victoria School. We have had a blast at this gorgeous spot and enjoyed meeting many people from the Nutana community! Thanks so much to Broadway District for having us!

As you can see our list of available plants has gotten a lot smaller lately, but we've still got lots to choose from and several great promos for you. Come stock up on basil while it's still available!
