ShuHop is still hopping. 🐰🚗💙

We know it’s been a little while since our original launch plans, and we’ve seen your messages, comments, and questions asking when ShuHop is coming. The fact that people are still asking for this service means more to us than you know.

The reality is that getting a transportation service properly licensed, insured, compliant, and ready to operate safely has come with more legal requirements and significantly higher startup costs than we originally anticipated.

But we haven’t given up.

We’re continuing to work through the requirements, explore funding opportunities, and build ShuHop behind the scenes so that when we do launch, we can do it properly, legally, safely, and in a way that can actually last.

We don’t want to give another launch date until we know we can stand behind it. As soon as we have a firm update, you’ll hear it from us.

To everyone who has signed up, applied to drive, shared our posts, followed along, or simply asked “When is ShuHop coming?” — thank you. ❤️

The demand is clearly here. Now we’re working on getting the rest of the pieces in place.

We’re still hopping. We’re just not at the starting line quite yet. 🐰

Phase 1 is all about making rides between Shuswap communities easier, cheaper, and more organized. 🚗

Instead of posting on Facebook hoping someone can drive you, ShuHop will help connect riders and drivers already heading the same way.

Need to get to Vernon? Kelowna? Salmon Arm? Work, school, appointments, airport runs, shopping, events, or just everyday errands?

That’s exactly what Phase 1 ridesharing is for.

For riders, it means a simpler way to find a ride.
For drivers, it means turning empty seats into extra gas money.
For the community, it means more local transportation options without waiting for big-city apps to care about small towns.

ShuHop is built for the Shuswap, by someone who actually lives here.

🚗 A quick update about ShuHop Phase 1!

ShuHop is launching in phases so we can build this properly, safely, and in a way that actually works for the Shuswap.

Phase 1 will focus on getting our early rider and driver community ready, building local awareness, and helping people start connecting around the rides they actually need, especially trips between communities like Salmon Arm, Blind Bay, Sorrento, Sicamous, Enderby, Armstrong, Vernon, Kelowna, and nearby areas.

The goal is simple: make local transportation feel easier, more practical, and more community-focused.

ShuHop is being built for things like:

🚗 Local rides🕒 Planned trips👥 Shared rides between towns💬 A stronger local driver/rider network before full launch

We’re not trying to rush something half-built into the community. We’re launching step by step so riders know what to expect, drivers are set up properly, and ShuHop can grow in a way that actually helps people here.

The Shuswap deserves its own rideshare. So we built one. 🚗🐰

ShuHop is launching this summer and we’re looking for:
• Riders to join the early waitlist
• Founding Drivers to help launch the network from day one

This isn’t some giant corporate app built for Vancouver or Toronto. ShuHop was built specifically for small-town and regional travel around Salmon Arm, Sicamous, Blind Bay, Vernon, Enderby, Armstrong, and beyond.

More local rides.
More money staying in the community.
More opportunities for local drivers.

Founding Drivers also get:
🔥 Lower lifetime commission rates
🔥 Early driver advantages before launch
🔥 Class 4 support incentives

And the first 100 Hoppers get discounts when we launch 👀

We’re building this together, from the ground up, right here in the Shuswap.

We’re not just building a rideshare… we’re building something for the Shuswap.

ShuHop is launching this summer, and we want to partner with local businesses to do something bigger than just rides.

We’re talking:
• Safe Ride Nights
• Community events
• Getting people home safely after a night out
• Putting real money back into local businesses and drivers

If you’re a bar, restaurant, venue, or local business that wants to be part of this, let’s work together.

This is our chance to build something that actually benefits the community, not just another app that takes from it.

Let’s make it happen.

Everyone complains about how hard it is to get around the Shuswap…

No rides.
No drivers.
Money leaving the community.

So instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, we built ShuHop.

Launching this summer.
Local drivers. Better payouts. Built for small towns like ours.

Not Toronto. Not Vancouver.
The Shuswap.

Let’s see what happens when we actually keep things local for once.

ShuHop is launching this summer in the Shuswap.

This isn’t just another rideshare app. It’s something built here, for here.

ShuHop is a hybrid between traditional ride-hailing and community-based ridesharing. Whether you need a quick ride across town or you’re heading between communities like Salmon Arm, Vernon, or Kamloops, ShuHop is designed to make getting around simpler and more accessible.

But what really matters is how it works behind the scenes.

Most platforms take a huge cut and send that money out of the community. ShuHop keeps fees low and transparent so more of every ride goes directly to the drivers and stays right here in the Shuswap.

More money in drivers’ pockets. More money circulating locally. A stronger community because of it.

We’re building this from the ground up with local drivers and riders in mind, and the early support has already been incredible.

If you haven’t joined yet, now’s the time.
