It’s wreath season! I had so much fun creating a fall coloured inspired wreath for a wonderful customer. I cannot wait to make more dried flower creations! I have time to make some custom wreaths - DM for more information.

Mid-June 2023

It’s taken a few years to get this garden to where it is today. Seeing it from here really makes me appreciate all I’ve done without thinking what’s next. I am so happy and grateful to have the space I have.

I am so thrilled to be able to see my garden from this angle. It gives me a really clear image as to what is happening in every corner of the garden at this point in time. As the roller coaster of the growing season continues I hope to catalog it from all angles. Video footage coming soon ☺️

Did September sneak up on anyone else this year?
I have finally come to realize that it is September once nearly half of the month has passed 🙈 The harvest moon was my reminder of what time of year it is. I am still harvesting lots of food and flowers from the garden but there has been a shift.

It is now easy to see and feel the shift of the seasons changing. Sometimes it's hard to accept summer is coming to an end. There is always beauty out side and here are somethings I am enjoying this time of year:
🌱 Greenhouse and fall garden are planted
🌸 Dahlias blooming which are always a September highlight
🌚 Cooler nights and great sleeps
🌳 Longer shadows in the evening which cast a beautiful light on the farm
🐦 Wild birds are flocking up and migrating which is amazing to watch. Also the goldfinches have finally arrived to feast on the spent sunflowers which always puts a smile on my face.

It’s becoming obvious that autumn is just around the corner. Some things in the garden are happier with the cooler nights and warm days. But it is wild to think that the season is going to be over soon. I’m trying to enjoy all of the tasks around the garden because the first frost is just around the corner.
