I REALLY did not want to hate this. 😂

I was hot. I was thirsty. I was READY for a margarita.

And then I took a sip.

Calling this a margarita feels… generous. 😂

It tasted like someone melted down a green Jolly Rancher into a drink. That sour-sweet, syrupy, sticky taste that somehow coats the back of your throat. Add popping pearls and… nope.

I love a fun seasonal Disney drink. I WANTED this to be good.

But for $20?!

I threw it out. 😭 And you KNOW a Disney drink has to be bad for me to throw away a $20 margarita.

Have you tried it?! PLEASE tell me what you thought.

How many times have you walked right past this car in DCA and NEVER noticed the Hidden Mickey?! 👀🐭

It’s right across from Soarin’, and if you look closely at the taillights… there he is. ✨

It’s even easier to spot at night when the lights are on!

I LOVE little Disneyland details like this. The kind you can walk past 20 times before suddenly realizing they’ve been there the whole time. 😂

Have you noticed this one before? And where’s your favourite Hidden Mickey in Disneyland? Tell me in the comments because I want to go looking for it!

Well, technically you’re someone in a mouse costume… but that’s beside the point. 😂

Because somehow Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney and a little place called Disneyland genuinely changed my life.

It became my happy place.
Then my obsession.
Then the thing I couldn’t stop talking about.
And somehow… my JOB?! 😂🏰

So yes, Mickey. You’re “literally just a mouse, dude.”

But also… thank you for changing my life. 🥹❤️

And since I’ve spent an unreasonable amount of time learning everything I possibly can about Disneyland, I might as well share it with you. 😂

⭐️ GOLD STAR BEHAVIOR: Disneyland edition.

You rope drop without complaining.

You mobile order BEFORE everyone is starving.

You don’t stop in the middle of a walkway to have a family meeting. 😂

You know that “we’ll just figure it out when we get there” is not actually a Disneyland strategy.

You bring a portable charger.

And when I say, “Trust me, we’re going this way,” you just FOLLOW ME. 😂🏰

Honestly, Disneyland is a lot more fun when you know the little things that make the day run smoother.

I love Disneyland.

I do not love spending thousands on a Disneyland vacation just to spend half of it standing in 75-minute lines. 😂

My personal rule? I rarely wait more than 30 minutes.

And no, that doesn’t mean running around the park like a lunatic trying to squeeze in 27 rides before lunch.

It means having a strategy.

✨ Rope drop with a PLAN
✨ Know which rides get busy first
✨ Use Lightning Lanes strategically
✨ Stop criss-crossing the park all day
✨ Know which rides are worth waiting for and which ones will drop later
✨ Build your day around YOUR family, not someone else’s TikTok itinerary

Because your perfect Disneyland day should have everything to do with your family and almost nothing to do with what someone else told you that you “have” to do.

That’s exactly why I created my Complete Disneyland Guide.

108 pages of the strategies, tips, planning advice and park knowledge I use to help families have calmer, FUN Disneyland days without feeling like they need a PhD in Disney planning. 😂🏰

I mean… technically my location IS correct. 😂🏰

Disneyland is basically my second home at this point.

I know where we’re eating, which bathroom I’m using, which direction I’m rope dropping, where I’m grabbing a drink and exactly where I’m going when I need to escape the crowds.

Want the house tour? 😂

And if you want Disneyland to feel a little more like home BEFORE you even get there, I put everything I know into my Complete Disneyland Guide.

The stuff I wish someone had just TOLD me before my first trip.

I paid $16.50 for the mini hot fudge sundae at Ghirardelli and I wanted SO badly to tell you it was worth every penny. 😂

The conditions were perfect.

I was hungry.
It was hot.
I LOVE a hot fudge sundae.

This should’ve been an easy win.

And somehow... it just wasn’t.

The whipped cream wasn’t great.
The hot fudge didn’t do much for me.
The whole thing was just kind of... there.

For $16.50, I wanted to take one bite and think, “Okay WOW. This is ridiculous, but I get it.”

That did not happen.

Did I still eat it?

Obviously.

Was it one of the worst sundaes I’ve had?

Honestly... yes.

Would I buy it again?

Absolutely not. 😂

There are way too many good things to eat at Disneyland to spend that much on something that doesn’t hit.

Follow Kristie Caron | Disneyland Planning Expert for more Disneyland food opinions I will apparently spend too much money forming.

A margarita + Guardians apparently brings out my strongest Disneyland opinions 😂

But I stand by all three.

First: have a plan.

You don’t need every minute scheduled, but walking into Disneyland with absolutely no idea where you’re starting, what matters most or what you’re trying to book can waste a LOT of expensive park time.

Second: know what you want before your 60-day reservation window opens.

If I’m waking up early to book Fantasmic, World of Color, dining, whatever it is, I already know what I’m going for.

I am not making major vacation decisions at 5:59am. 😂

And third:

Your perfect Disneyland day should have almost nothing to do with what somebody online told you it should look like.

If your kid wants Autopia twice, ride Autopia twice.

If your family would rather take a three-hour hotel break than fit in six more attractions, take the break.

If nobody cares about the restaurant everybody says is a “must-do,” don’t book it.

Your must-dos should actually be your must-dos.

If you want help turning everything you’ve saved about Disneyland into an actual plan for your family, comment B26 and I’ll send you my Disneyland Planning Blueprint.
