If you use Downsizing Diva Durham for your next move, you will usually find a plate of delicious homemade cookies to enjoy with your tea or coffee after a long, tiring move day

Please enjoy this family favourite from Diva Heather

✨Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Recipe✨

Ingredients:
· 1 cup butter
· I cup brown sugar
· 2/3 cup white sugar
· 1 tsp vanilla
· 2 cups One Minute Oats
· 1 pkg. semi or dark chocolate chips
· 2 crushed Aero Bars
· 2 cups flour
· 1 tsp baking powder
· I tsp baking soda
· ½ tsp salt
Options: You can leave out the Aero bars if you don’t have them on hand. Maybe toss in a hand of nuts or Skor bits if that suits your fancy.

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Cream together butter, sugars and vanilla until blended well
3. Add eggs one at a time and blend again
4. Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add in oatmeal and stir
5. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients just until blended
6. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed Aero Bars
7. Chill for at least ½ hr
8. Scoop mounds on parchment lined baking sheets
9. Bake for 10-14 minutes
