As you may be aware, new trade tariffs between the United States and Canada are set to take effect at midnight on February 4th. These changes will impact importers on both sides of the border, and we want to ensure you have the latest information to prepare accordingly.
What’s Changing?
For U.S. Imports from Canada: A 25% blanket tariff will apply to all goods manufactured in Canada.
For Canadian Imports from the U.S.: A 25% tariff will be applied to specific goods U.S. made goods, with the list expected to expand in the coming weeks.
