Cruising doesn't have to equal crowded buffets and packed pools✨

Welcome to the ultra-luxury world of the The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

We’re talking:

• Greek Islands
• Hidden gems + smaller ports the big ships can’t access

Here is everything you need to know about the Mayan Ruins (Zama) in Tulum, Quintana Roo Mexico.

It is an hour and a half drive from Cancun.

Make a day trip out of it and stop at a cenote or two and visit Quinta Avenada Playa Del Carmen for so much shopping, souvenirs and amazing restaurants, as you drive right past it on your way! If you book this as an excursion with a tour guide, you will gwt to make a full day out of it with round trip transportation.

🇲🇽1. Plastic bottles are NOT allowed in the ruins.
🇲🇽2. No drone or gopros allowed
🇲🇽3. There are bathrooms right before you enter
🇲🇽4. It is HOT in the sun, bring sunscreen
🇲🇽5. GO WITH A TOUR GUIDE! As a travel agent, I can't recommend this enough. The locals and tourists guides can give you all the amazing history that makes it a MILLION times better and more incredible.
🇲🇽6. Bring comfy shoes, theres quite a bit of walking/climbing up hill
🇲🇽7. They do have little shuttle buggies around the clock taking you to and from the entrance
🇲🇽8. There are tonnes of souvenir shops/stands, food spots, fresh coconuts and more before you enter. The souvenirs are more expensive than other areas but still super nice and fun!
🇲🇽9. ❗️It costs $40USD per person to enter❗️
🇲🇽10. Plan to spend about 2 hours theres if you want to walk through the full site, take photos and read some of the history.

Planning a Mexico getaway? 🌴☀️ Here’s the insider scoop:

✨ **Best time to visit:** end of November to mid March
✔️ Minimal sargassum (seaweed)
✔️ Dry season = sunny skies & perfect beach days
✔️ Lower humidity and comfortable temps

⚠️ **What to avoid:**
June to October = hurricane season + peak sargassum along Caribbean beaches

💡 **Pro tip:** If you’re traveling in late spring/summer, head to the Pacific coast for clearer waters!

Save this for your next trip ✈️🇲🇽

was HANDS DOWN the best resort we have stayed at so far. Their amenities entertainment, beaches, coral reef access, sports and dining are all reasons we choose Club med over other resorts.

Today I am sharing all the dining insights!

1. They have 4 main dining options - La Estancia, Taco Arte, La Hacienda, the Creperie, and several beach and pool bars.

2. 🍉Breakfast can be had at BOTH La Hacienda and Taco Arte. No reservation needed. Both buffet style. Our preference was Taco Arte. The food, fresh juice bar and especially the view is what drew us there. It was also less busy than the Hacienda. Get there right when they open for fast seating and the freshest food.

Both restaurants have great selection of baby food, purses, milks and formulas.

3. 🥥Lunch - Taco Arte or the Creperie. Creperie is just snacks and wasnt as appealing. However Taco Arte lunch buffet is EPIC. Again, endless options. Buffet style. No reservation needed. Located right near sports activities, waterpark, pickleball, bathroom and of course, THE BEST and least windy beach at the resort. They also have a beach bar there with everything you could possibly want to drink.

4. 🍣Dinner - if you want buffet, La Hacienda is your go to with theme nights and 5 different massive stations of everything you could ever want with no reservations needed. Taco Arte and La Hacienda are A la carte menus and DO require reservations made the day before. Set an alarm during peak season for like 5 or 6 AM to get a reservation booked through the app. Taco Arte menu is seafood focussed eith amazing Mexican flavours. La Estancia is upscale steak and meat focussed menu. Both superb. Book Both at sunset!

5. Afterglow: la estancia has a fantastic late night menu, no reservation needed. Just walk in!

6. Club med also has appetizers and snacks on the patio in evenings and during the afternoon sometimes for their beach BBQs and when there is live entertainment.

7. Bars are located throughout the entire resort for cappuccinos, teas, and other beverages. They have dairy free milk options too.

I am a packing queen! I bring tonnes of outfits, shoes, makeup, hair care etc and still manage to travel to the carribbean with a carry on. I have perfected the art of packing by learning what I always use and what I almost never use and I am here to help you too♥️

I hate checking bags because when I land, I want to go STRAIGHT to the resort, not wait for my bags to arrive/risk losing luggage.

1. Sweaters - if you love sitting on thr beach after sunset especially, this one is for you. I have never gone to a tropical location and have NOT used my sweater, regardless the season. If you

2. Saccharomyces boulardi probiotic - I take this for a few weeks prior to my vacation (along with high dose Vit C, d and zinc (i am also a holistic nutritionist) and i bring Sach boulardi probiotic with me and take while im on vacation to help reduce E. Coli/norovirus risk or symptoms/intensity if you do get it. It works... ive never been sick once and eat everything I want yet everyone around me always does.

3. Tea tree and silver hand mist - i spray this on my hands AFTER ive touched spoons/tongues at buffets but BEFORE I touch my own cutlery or food on my plate. This will kill germs better than hand sanitizer. I bring a 100ml bottle so you can board with it no problem. I fill the bottle with colloidal silver (can buy online) and then add 5 drops tea tree essential oil (pure) and shake well and spray. Then i dry my hands with napkins and then eat.

4. Small denomination bills for tipping in local currency - tipping is big in a lot of countries and many of the locals really rely on it. For mexico, I tip 10 pesos for a drink (I dont drink alcohol but will do this for cappuccinos, cocktails, etc), 60 pesos for cleaning lady especially when youre bringing sand into the room and using lots of towels at the beach, 60 pesos for shuttle drivers, etc.
