Some places are best experienced beyond the viewpoint.

The Cabot Trail is known around the world for its dramatic coastlines, winding roads, and breathtaking vistas. But beyond the scenery lies something even more meaningful — the stories, traditions, and cultures that have shaped Unama’ki for generations.

Led by our Director of Cultural Experiences, Graham Marshall, the Cabot Trail Journey invites guests to experience Unama’ki through story, song, and a meaningful connection to place.

A renowned musician, storyteller, and knowledge keeper, Graham shares perspectives that transform a scenic drive into something far more memorable.

This is not simply about seeing Cape Breton.

It is about understanding it.

For many guests, it becomes the experience they speak about long after they return home.

Thoughtfully curated. Deeply personal. Rooted in place.

Some of the most rewarding journeys are the ones that create lasting memories while supporting a meaningful cause.

Recently, we had the privilege of hosting guests as part of a fundraising initiative supporting Jumpstart, an organization dedicated to helping young Canadians access and participate in sport and recreation.

The journey showcased some of Nova Scotia's most celebrated hospitality and golf experiences, beginning with stays at The Muir and The Prince George Hotel in Halifax before travelling to Fox Harb’r Resort and onward to Cape Breton-Unama'ki for two nights at Cabot Cape Breton, where guests enjoyed rounds on both Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs.

Along the way, guests experienced exceptional dining, including an evening at Halifax's renowned Bicycle Thief and a private dinner at Table Doucet near Chéticamp—an unforgettable evening that highlighted the people, flavours, and sense of place that make this region so special.

At Cape Concierge, we're proud to showcase the very best of Nova Scotia through seamless, personalized journeys that connect guests with remarkable places and people.

Some places are designed to be stayed in.
Others are designed to be experienced.

Set above the Margaree River in the heart of Unama’ki, The Shed serves as a private basecamp for some of our most immersive Cape Breton journeys — from world-class golf and fishing getaways to curated culinary and cultural retreats.

Days unfold slowly here.

Morning coffee overlooking the valley.
Evenings around the fire.
Private performances, shared meals, and meaningful connection in a setting designed for privacy, comfort, and a true sense of place.

Thoughtfully layered with curated Indigenous art, warm gathering spaces, and seamless hospitality, The Shed has become one of the defining parts of the Cape Concierge experience.

This June, it will once again welcome guests for a private, world-class Cape Breton fishing and golf getaway.

A place to gather.
A place to exhale.
A place guests never want to leave.
