Full-time (40 hrs/week) | $29 CAD/hour

At Mexicom Logistics, we continue to grow and are looking for an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Montreal office.

What are we looking for?

2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR)
University degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Fluent in English and Spanish (essential)
Solid proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
Analytical, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Position Details:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Location: On-site in Montreal
Salary: $29 CAD per hour

Requirement: Valid Canadian residency or open work permit

Energy, critical minerals, and semiconductors are already moving cargo along the same corridors as auto parts. These three sectors are defining the future of the North American economy. The joint review of the USMCA, which began in July 2026, will determine the rules governing how these strategic inputs flow between Mexico, the US, and Canada.

Key findings from the analysis:

Energy: Canada supplies 81.3% of the electricity imported by the US and 64% of its crude oil. US natural gas is flowing to Mexico at record levels.

Critical Minerals: Mexico has identified approximately 1.7 million tons of lithium in 82 deposits. Sonora, Chihuahua, Durango, Sinaloa, and Zacatecas account for 63% of the portfolio for the energy transition.

Semiconductors: The Mexico Plan aims to increase production 25-fold in three years. Querétaro, Jalisco, and Nuevo León are key.

Rules of Origin: The regional content of critical minerals will increase to 80% after December 2026. Traceability is already an operational requirement.

Transportation: Laredo, El Paso, and Detroit–Windsor now move lithium, aluminum, wafers, and packaged chips. C-TPAT, AEO, and FAST make a difference.
