Our time in Texas was short (it was an unexpected business trip). We got to see some fun stuff along the roadside and enjoyed 90-degree weather with 90 percent humidity for 10 days in the summer!! Definitely not the right way to visit!

Glacier National Park - Going to the Sun Road

Head spinning and your jaw dropping views around every corner. The drive up to Logan Pass then down to St Mary's Lake was as gorgeous as we had hoped. The weather was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better day to drive the Going to the Sun Road in early July.

Glacier National Park

It was July 3rd and there were no crowds! We had an amazing time on our first drive through the park - enjoying the beach at Apgar (with much better views of Lake McDonald than at the lodge!

After leaving Yellowstone, a detour brought us back to Missoula for a spell. Here are a few shots of some gorgeous rivers along the way: The Bitterroot in Sula, Montana, the Flathead River near Columbia Falls, MT and the Big Lost River area of central Idaho.
