Auction Transport was founded in 1997. The name “Auction Transport” was chosen because all of the business generated at that time was lease returns from dealerships to the Auto Auctions, and from the Auctions to the purchasing dealerships.
In the early years of the company’s existence, the revenue generated came exclusively from within the Atlantic Provinces. Over time, lease return programs slowly dissipated and forced Auction Transport to re-evaluate and re-invent its existence within this fast-growing and competitive industry. Auction Transport slowly integrated into the Central Canadian market, creating many new opportunities for growth. As Auction Transport is based out of Moncton, New Brunswick in Atlantic Canada, the process of integration into Central Canada began slowly, but has continued steadily throughout the years, and continues today.
