We are looking for a small, private piece of land in or around Mission that we can rent long-term and turn into one beautiful, fully set-up camping experience. We don’t need a whole property, and we’re not building an RV park. One private section of acreage could be enough.

Solara is part of an incorporated company, we’re commercially insured, we use guest waivers, safety procedures, and a proper written agreement with the landowner.

If you’re a landowner, realtor, or know someone with the right piece of property, I would really love to talk.

I think it's probably time I put a face to this page. Hi, I'm Olga, and I'm one of the people behind Solara.

This little business started with a pretty simple idea: we wanted to make getting away into nature easier for people who don't own an RV, don't have all the camping gear, or just don't want to pack their entire house for two nights away. You just show up and we take care of the rest.

We launched earlier this summer and the response was MUCH bigger than I expected. It also taught me pretty quickly that the temporary setup I started with wasn't going to be enough for what Solara could become.

I'm looking for a small, private piece of land close to Mission that Solara can call home. Somewhere I can take care of the property, keep our setup in one place, host small groups and families, and slowly build the little glamping experience that's been living in my head.

There are 242 of you here now, so rather than build quietly behind the scenes, I'm going to start showing you what we are working on. Maybe one of you will even help me find the place where Solara finally lands.

I don't think I'll ever forget this weekend.

A few months ago, Solara was just a future project that David and I couldn't stop talking about. We would walk through stores, scroll through Amazon, and keep saying, "Our guests would love this." Little by little, the boxes piled up, the storage filled up, and what started as an idea became something that we can be proud of.

This weekend we welcomed our very first guests. It wasn't at the lakeside location we had originally planned, but we were incredibly grateful that they still had the opportunity to get away, relax, and give us the chance to finally put months of planning into action. One thing we never wanted to compromise on was quality. The BBQ, outdoor chairs, cookware, dishes, mugs, fresh linens, towels, pillow protectors and memory foam mattress toppers were all purchased brand new because we wanted every guest to arrive to a space that was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully prepared.

Looking through these photos, I don't just see an RV and a tent. I see months of dreaming, planning and a whole lot of little decisions.

Thank you to our very first guests for trusting us, and thank you to everyone who's followed this journey.

We are just getting started. ❤️

I just finished emailing every single one of our booked guests. The last few days have been incredible... and exhausting.

We received way more interest than I ever imagined, but we also received a lot of criticism and questions. That's part of putting a brand new idea out into the world.

The one thing I never wanted was for our guests to wonder what was happening because of something they read on Facebook. They trusted us first, so they deserved to hear everything directly from me. Whatever happens next, I'm going to build Solara the right way. ❤️

We haven't slept much this week... and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.
Every day has been spent adding one more little detail, moving things around, testing ideas, and asking, "How can we make this just a little more comfortable for our guests?"

This is the space we have been creating, one thoughtful touch at a time. There are still more improvements coming throughout the season, but we wanted to finally give you a little tour of the campsite.

We hope that when you arrive, you'll feel the care that went into preparing it.

From campground partnerships to fully equipped RVs, everything we're building is focused on making camping simple, comfortable, and memorable. This is only the beginning, and I'm excited to share the journey with you.

Inventory Update #1

Today, we ordered six camp chairs. Little by little, we are building the inventory that will eventually welcome families around the fire, morning coffees by the lake, and evenings spent telling stories under the stars.

Most people only see the finished product, so I thought it would be fun to share the journey of building Solara RV Rentals from the ground up... one thoughtful purchase at a time.

I could post another beautiful lake, another campfire, or another sunset... but today I want to share something that, in my opinion, is far more beautiful.

Every time I watch this page, I end up in tears.
It's not because someone is giving away money. It's because they remind me how quickly the world can change when people decide to help instead of waiting for someone else to do it. This man built a system where generosity moves quickly and visibly.

He picks one family, one village, one roof at a time, and changes their lives within a few days or weeks. If you have never come across MurphsLife, I hope you'll spend a few minutes watching what they're doing.

We need more reminders that humanity is still capable of incredible things.
