I'm taking a break from Oak Tree.

After wrestling with my schedule, I have decided to step back to open up some much-needed time for other pursuits. For the moment this means I will have to decline all new orders. I'm sorry.

In order to provide the best possible product, I have decided to offer knitted goods on an as-available basis. Items will be offered for sale in catalogue form -- after they are completed -- versus pre-ordering. This will allow me more time to ensure that each piece is flawless, and alleviate scheduling issues with my other jobs.

I had a customer worry that she was being difficult by requesting a colour I don't normally stock. I want to nip that in the bud, both for her and for the rest of you lovelies.

I will never, ever mind you asking for exactly what you want.

One of the best things about handmade, versus chain or retail, is exactly that: you can customize your piece to suit your needs. I love being able to make a piece that is unique to that customer. I want to match the vision you have and make you a piece you'll love.

I promise, I'll do the best I can to accommodate any request. Without you all, Oak Tree wouldn't be here. I am so, so thankful for each and every order, for each "like" and share. I want you all to know how much I appreciate you; please don't ever feel like a burden.

This one was made for a six-year-old, but it can be scaled to fit sizes from three months through adult. Also available without ears (but seriously, who can resist those little ears?!)
