Did you know there are 2 different airfare sales happening right now, 25% off with both WestJet and Air Canada for select fares this summer, fall and winter!

Halloween time is back at the Disneyland Resort, from August 21st-October 31st!

Announced today, Oogie Boogie Bash tickets go on sale to the general public June 18th at 9am (waiting room opens at approx 8:45am). The party runs on select nights from August 18th-October 31st and is truly one of the most fun experiences I've had at the parks. 10/10 recommend!

There are currently TWO repositioning cruises with Disney on sale for Canadian residents, both on the Disney Magic!

Sept 17-21 2026 4 nights from Vancouver to San Diego, and the one I did last month, May 9-13 2027, 4 nights from San Diego to Vancouver! Personally, if I were to choose I would go from Vancouver to San Diego so it slowly gets warmer each day, not colder 😂

10/10 recommend a Disney cruise at least once in your life, I'm already dreaming of my next one!

📢 DISNEYLAND PARK HOPPER UPDATE!! 📢

Beginning June 9, 2026, Disneyland Resort guests with Park Hopper tickets will be able to cross between parks without having to wait until 11 a.m., subject to availability of the applicable park.

Park reservations are still required so you'll still need to choose a starting park.

Dining on the Disney Magic!

Once on board you'll be able to access your dining schedule through the Disney Cruise Line Navigators App. You'll rotate through the 3 dining rooms on the ship at either 5:45pm or 8:15pm (chosen at time of booking). I did early dining on this sailing, but I would probably choose late dining for any future sailings.

On the Disney Magic specifically the dining rooms are Animators Palate, Lumieres and Rapunzel's Royal Table. My personal favourite was Animators, then Rapunzel, and Lumieres was last, you can tell by the amount of photos I took at Animators and then the major lack of photos at the other 2. 😅😂 I just loved how the room started out as just sketches and then throughout the night it slowly evolved into a whole show. It was so interactive and is the one I'm most excited to bring my family to one day.

A major highlight for me was how your serving team stays with you through the whole cruise. My reservation was already noted with me being celiac, and once I had that first conversation with our server she made sure I was taken care of every step of the way. I was able to pre-order my food for the following night, as well as my breakfast for the morning! It made everything so easy and made me feel so safe knowing they were taking such great care of me.

Embarkation in San Diego was a BREEZE!

After an early morning from Anaheim to San Diego (10/10 recommend the Amtrak, what a fun way to travel!) and a fun adventure looking for gluten free Cheez-Its, I grabbed some breakfast and waited for my port arrival time (PAT).

Thanks to the cruise Facebook and WhatsApp group, I was able to keep track of what PAT was being called. Mine wasn't until 1:45 but they were so efficient I was on board by 1!

Dropping my luggage was easy. Disney only mailed me 1 luggage tag but I was able to get a second one so I could leave both bags with them and walked on with just my backpack.

It's very important to keep everything you may need on board with you, like a change of clothes, bathing suit, medication etc, because it could take a bit of time before your bags get to your room!

Also fun fact, you can get your magic band linked to your room with a cast member prior to boarding! This saves you time so you don't have to wait in the guest services line, which can be quite long at the start of the voyage!

I'm very lucky to be sailing in a Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Verandah.

This one sleeps 4 with the queen bed, sofa bed and pull down bunk. Deluxe means split bathroom which makes getting ready in the morning so much easier!
Also this bed is the comfiest bed I've ever slept in, it's so nice!

If we learned one thing from my trip to Disney in Sept it's that I'm not good at sharing on the go content 😂😂 but the first 24 hours aboard the Disney Magic have been truly incredible!

After a very, very long travel/park day on Sunday, I got up early Monday morning and took the Amtrak from Anaheim to San Diego to board the ship! My Port Arrival Time wasn't until 1:45 but they were ahead of schedule and I was on board by 1pm, in my room by 2pm and had all my luggage by 2:45!

The Sail Away party at 4pm was so much fun! It's the perfect way to get you excited for your sailing!
