This has been the view I have woken up to every morning for the past week, and I am definitely going to miss it.

When you travel, how important is the view from your room?

For me, waking up to the ocean and falling asleep to the sound of the waves makes such a difference. There is something about being able to slow down, step outside, and take in a view like this that does wonders for my mental health.

It is also a great reminder that sometimes the little details of a hotel stay can make a big difference in how you experience a vacation.

As with any great journey, sometimes the route changes while the destination stays the same. I wanted to share a couple of updates as I am in an exciting new chapter in my travel business.

For the last year, my business, Send Me A Postcard, has been working with Personal Travel Management Ltd as my new host agency. Behind the scenes, this gives me access to even more support and resources, allowing me to continue delivering the personalized service you have come to expect.

I am also excited to share another professional milestone. I recently earned my Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) designation through the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA). This nationally recognized certification reflects my commitment to continuing education, industry expertise, and providing my clients with knowledgeable, professional travel advice. Investing in my education means I can better advocate for you, navigate the ever-changing travel landscape, and help create seamless travel experiences from start to finish.

There is one more personal change. My last name has changed from Hillis to Witt-McNie, so you will now know me as Camille Witt-McNie. While the name has changed, everything else that matters is exactly the same.
