I finally got to experience seeing the Northern Lights (aurora borealis) last night 😍 I was oooohhing and aaahhhing so much. How special to be able to watch it change right before your eyes. Even in town with light pollution I could see them with my bare eyes, though the phone camera lens sure helps.

Have you experienced this natural treat?

🏃‍♀️ I'm inspired to go create ink-blended backgrounds for cards now.

I wonder what the generations who came before us would think about our modern ways of communication. It's true that a handwritten note, although always precious, seems to carry even more weight now because they're more rare. 💖

Have you ever dreamt of walking through a field like this one?

After choosing the part of this sheet I wanted to feature on a card, I trimmed it down into 5 equal strips and glued them in a "messy" way on the card front. I like that it leaves something to the imagination.

For this Meandering Meadows (how great is that name though?) card I used two different circles from the Stitched Shapes dies to narrow in on the tree scene. I carefully chose where to die-cut the smaller circles also as I wanted them to match the sky and mountains in tree scene.

Next we turn our eyes to some pretty paper 😍 The Meandering Meadows dsp is simply put; dreamy. The imagery on this paper is so serene I swear I feel calmer while I'm crafting with it.

Today's card is as basic as can be. Occasionally, I get asked for blank cards and considering how stunning this piece of paper is, I figured now was my chance to make one. In fact, this paper pack would be perfect for making a set of blank cards to keep in your collection.
