Another successful move in the books! This one came together fast: her sister in law called me this past Saturday needing help getting her loved one moved from her apartment into a retirement residence, all while she was still in hospital and couldn't be there herself. I could tell how stressed she was going into that call, so I told her I'd handle it, book a trusted junk removal team, and show up Wednesday with everything we needed to get it done right. She said that call alone brought her so much relief.

Her sister in law and sister flew in from the GTA Tuesday, and Wednesday we got to work at her apartment in Minto Place, sorting through what was coming with her and what wasn't.

Big thank you to Zack from Medium Husky Delivery and Junk Removal. We were walking into an unoccupied apartment with no idea what we'd be dealing with, and Zack made himself available anyway, showed up ready to go, and hauled everything out so smoothly. Having someone reliable like that on a job like this makes all the difference.

Once everything was moved to her new place at Venvi Lynwood Park, we made a run for pillows and linens, then the three of us headed out together for a final trip to pick up exactly what was needed to make the space feel ready for her, not just moved into. Move in day is tomorrow and it's going to be beautiful.

Moments like this are exactly why I do this work. Being able to take someone from that level of stress to feeling relieved, just by picking up the phone and telling them "I've got this," means everything to me. Grateful for days like this and for teams like Zack's who show up when it counts. 💛
