Do you miss the elaborate Cruise Ship Midnight Buffets? 🚢🍫
Remember when staying up late on a cruise meant being rewarded with a spectacular midnight buffet?

Tables piled high with smoked salmon, charcuterie, cheeses, pizza, desserts and all sorts of late-night treats. And then there were the chocolate buffets — chocolate fountains, handmade sculptures and desserts that almost looked too good to eat. Almost. 😂

Most cruise lines did away with these elaborate midnight spreads more than a decade ago, but they were definitely part of the classic cruising experience.
I’m not sure we actually needed another meal at midnight after eating all day…but that certainly didn’t stop us! 😆

🇬🇧 What’s Your Favourite British Food? 🍽️✈️
One of the best parts of travelling is tasting the dishes a destination is known for — and Britain definitely has some classics worth trying.

From Fish & Chips and Beef Wellington to Bangers and Mash, Cornish Pasties and a proper Sunday Roast, there’s plenty of comfort food to work your way through.
And then, of course, there’s dessert. 😍

My perfect British meal?
❤️ Sunday Roast with roast beef, crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and lots of gravy.

Followed by...
🍮 Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert.
That combination gets my vote every time!

Some restaurants are simply places to eat. Others become part of the journey. The Wolseley is definitely one of them.

Set in one of London’s most beautiful historic buildings, dining here feels like stepping into one of Europe’s grand cafés. The elegant surroundings, warm service, and relaxed atmosphere make this much more than just dinner—it’s an experience.

Every dish was beautifully presented, expertly prepared, and full of flavour. We arrived just before our 6:00 pm reservation on a warm Thursday in london and enjoyed a wonderfully unhurried evening, finally leaving at 8:45 pm without ever feeling rushed.
