Mountain View Helicopters is a Canadian helicopter company based just west of Calgary at the Springbank Airport. MVH provides VFR, IFR, Recurrent and Advanced Helicopter Flight Training. This International Woman’s Day, we are proud to feature some of the incredible woman who have come through MVH. From those that are shaping the future of aviation to those just beginning their journey, their dedication and passion continue to drive the industry forward.

Woman make up 11% of graduates at Mountain View Helicopters, while a 2021 study estimated that only 4% of helicopter pilots in Canada are female.

We are honoured to train these pilots and remain dedicated to supporting and empowering the next generation of woman in aviation!

Shout-out to the volunteers that maintain the Ghost Lake ice track! Spanning a couple kilometers, with more ice tracks every year, participates claim it is the largest ice track in North America. What better way to watch the races than from the sky! Come check it out for yourself!
