While the US is wondering how to silence the crazy SS sheep of the 21st century, and in Bulgaria they are waving some kind of furry scarecrow at us, just to keep us in a panic, the real world is moving forward!
And while we are playing smart on Facebook, Europe is opening up a market of 1.4 billion people!
Yes, while some are watching videos about the "end of European civilization", the EU has signed one of the largest trade agreements in history - with India.
🇮🇳 India is the 4th economy in the world, the most populous country on the planet and, above all, a market that is growing by 6-7% annually!!!
All of this was almost inaccessible until yesterday due to high tariffs, but today the doors are opening wide for EUROPEAN business.
But will Bulgarians even notice it or will we still argue about the Bulgarian lev?
What Bulgaria gains (if it decides to gain at all):
• Machinery, electrical equipment, chemicals, plastics – tariffs fall to 0% (so far up to 44%).
• Pharmaceuticals – from 11% to 0%. Yes, 0%.
• Food and beverages – olive oil, juices, processed foods, meat products – tariffs fall to 0% (from 36–150%!!!).
• IT and services – India gives its largest ever access to financial and digital services.
• Small businesses – bureaucracy falls, customs are accelerated!
What is NOT happening (sleep well American/Russophiles):
❌ They will not flood us with cheap Indian rice, sugar or beef - these sectors remain protected.
❌ EU standards remain ironclad - everything goes through our safety rules. Not through someone's fantasies.
🚀 What's next? The agreement is expected to double EU exports to India, if that's not good news for every European, I don't know...
And now comes the big question:
👉 Will Bulgarian businesses benefit from this?
Or will we still stand in the corner, explainning how Europe is dying while it is actually making strategic moves that other countries can only dream of achieving?
I have always believed in India's future, and now even more so. And you?
