My favorite travel experiences are the ones where I just have to show up. No thinking about what tours to go on, where I am going to eat, or how I am going to get there. That is the beauty of escorted tours, river cruises, and luxury cruises. Don’t get me wrong I love taking care of the details for others. That’s why I am a travel agent but when it’s time to travel I just want to relax, enjoy the beautiful sites, and learn some history. If just showing up and having everything taken care of is your travel style then you should talk to me about your next vacation.

I love pizza! The pizza we had in St. Martin/Maarten was so good. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered another pizza a couple nights later.

We didn’t eat out the whole time we also cooked. You should have seen us in the grocery store. Everything was in French. St. Martin/Maarten has an invisible line through the island. One half is run by the Dutch and they speak English and use US dollars. On the French side they mostly speak French and prefer Euros but will accept dollar bills. We stayed in this cute little hotel (6 rooms) on the in the community of Ance Marcel on the French side.

So this sourdough pizza we had in the little Italian restaurant has me excited to check out pizza in Italy in a couple months.
