Founded in 2012 in Baku, at the heart of the Silk Road, Silk Way West Airlines operates around 350 monthly flights across the globe via its fleet of 12 dedicated Boeing 747-8F and 747-400F aircraft based at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. We congratulate on 20 years of professional excellence behind the scenes. Over the past two decades, the company has continuously expanded its technical capabilities and infrastructure, strengthening its position in the aircraft maintenance sector across the Caucasus region and supporting safe and efficient aircraft operations for partners worldwide. Today, Silk Way Technics operates from a 26,000 m² hangar complex at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and is supported by a team of more than 600 certified specialists.

We are pleased to welcome our fourth Boeing 777 Freighter to the Silk Way West Airlines fleet — with this addition, our fleet now stands at 12 aircraft.
The aircraft is the fourth of six Boeing 777 Freighters ordered, with the remaining deliveries expected in 2027 — completing the first phase of our fleet renewal program.
Looking ahead, the second phase of fleet modernization will begin in 2028, including the introduction of next-generation freighters to support capacity growth and expand operations, with the total fleet set to reach 20 wide-body aircraft by 2030.

In his presentation, he highlighted the vision behind the Alat International Airport and the Alat Logistics Center, two flagship projects that will strengthen Silk Way Group’s role as a key enabler of global trade and connectivity.

We have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with .az , marking a new step in developing postal and e-commerce logistics.
This strategic partnership aims to enhance cargo transportation, last-mile delivery, and logistics services in Azerbaijan and internationally. It also opens new opportunities in the Alat Free Economic Zone, where both parties plan to explore joint logistics solutions. As part of the first phase, a fully automated e-commerce terminal of 12,000 m² will be developed to handle all postal and e-commerce parcels — laying the groundwork for large-scale regional logistics operations.
