Happy new year to all, just a quick note that with the new year unfortunately comes the inevitable increase in pricing, effective Jan 30 2026, pricing will be as follows:

First item is $25 (unless double door fridge or commercial appliance) additional appliances are:

Fridges $20 (std size)
Double door fridges $30
Washing machines $20
Dryers $20
Dish washers $20

Commercial appliances are priced case by case, contact me for a quote.
Payment is cash on the day unless PRIOR arrangement has been made.

I offer a friendly polite and punctual service to remove Fridges, freezers, washing machines, dryers & dishwashers working or not, $20 for first item ($30 for double door fridges) $10 for each appliance after that per pickup.

I unfortunately now have to charge for pickup, as local scrap yards are no longer paying to take whitegoods.

Removal of old dishwashers, fridges , freezers washing machines & dryers working or not doesn’t matter, will also take air conditioners and hot water services, stoves & ovens, and cast iron baths, metals & car batteries, in Albury and Wodonga, outside Albury Wodonga by arrangement, msg me to arrange pickup

Hi everyone, hope you are all keeping cool in this heat.
Just a quick note to let everyone know that I will not take away fridges or freezers that are full of rotting foodstuffs or other biohazards.
I provide a low cost service to take away dead and unwanted appliances and deliver them to a recycling facility, the recycling facility does not pay me for these goods and will not accept any full of nasty stuff, and I will not take them, so please make sure appliances are emptied before pick up, as my refusal to remove them may offend but I am not a cleaning service.

Since I started to do this, I have had many nay sayers send rude and sometimes abusive private messages, yes I do this to make a little money, but also to help those who don’t have the resources to do it themselves.

Something to note for those people who believe that $20 to pick up from your home at a time that suits you is a bit much.

To dispose of an old fridge / freezer or refrigerated air conditioner, at the Wodonga transfer station now costs $10 per item and the Albury Waste Centre is charging $18 per item. (And you have to take it there yourself)

I aim to provide a punctual, polite and cost effective service to those who wish to engage my service, and I would like to thank those who I have had the pleasure to serve, And hope to be able to continue to provide a service that helps people for a reasonable price.
