Convoy 4 Kids in Albury Sunday 18th January was an incredible day with a huge amount of love and support shown from our community! It was a great family event with plenty of activities for the kids, all whilst raising money for children diagnosed with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.

Ron Finemore Transport is the proud winner of the Qlik ANZ Digital Transformation Award for 2025.

Qlik Celebrates Excellence and Innovation at Australia and New Zealand Digital Transformation Awards
Qlik® today announced the winners of its 7th annual Australia and New Zealand Digital Transformation Awards, recognising leading organisations using Qlik’s data, analytics, and AI solutions to deliver positive outcomes for citizens, industries, and society.
This year’s winners were celebrated at a special ceremony held in Sydney.
“The breadth of winners demonstrates how data integration and analytics can transform every corner of society,” said Maurizio Garavello, Senior Vice President for APAC at Qlik. “From healthcare to legal services, sporting to community services, these organisations are trailblazers, showing how digital transformation drives meaningful change.”

On 25 September, Ron Finemore Transport proudly joined St John Ambulance Australia, the NHVR, Primary Connect and Woolworths Group to launch the 'Defibs in Trucks program' at the Erskine Park Distribution Centre.

Through this life-saving initiative, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) have been installed across 50 RFT trucks, with over 65 of our drivers already trained in their use. These devices, funded by the NHVR’s Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative, give our drivers the tools to respond to sudden cardiac arrest and roadside emergencies, particularly in regional and remote areas where immediate care may not be available.

Industry, government, and community leaders, including Senator Tony Sheldon, NHVR Chair Duncan Gay AM, and representatives from St Vincent’s Hospital and Woolworths Group, came together to recognise the importance of collaboration in improving road safety.

RFT Founder Ron Finemore AO summed it up best: ‘Defibs save lives, and every life is worth saving.'

We are proud to be part of this program and remain committed to raising the safety benchmark for our people, our industry, and all Australians on the road.

Primary Connect introduced a new honour this year at their Transport Safety Day: 'The Extra Mile in Safety' Award. This award, nominated by their carrier partners, recognises an innovative safety initiative that can make a real difference to the industry and the community.

We are delighted to announce that Ron Finemore Transport is the inaugural recipient! RFT were awarded for their partnership with St John's Ambulance and the NHVR, a brilliant initiative to place life-saving AEDs in their Refrigeration and General trucks based in the Central West . Given that trucks are often the first on the scene in rural and regional areas, this pilot program has the potential to save lives along key routes like the Great Western Highway.

This is a powerful example of going the extra mile for the safety of our teams and the wider community.
