If your looking for a quaint little restaurant with all the rustic charm and plenty for the kids to do, whilst you sit back and relax with a cold craft beer or wine, listening to some live music and enjoying some scrumptious food. Then look no further, this place honestly ticked all the boxes for us😍

Only passing this little gem by chance, on our way to the tambourine rainforest skywalk, we decided to stop in on the way back home for a quick bite, well couple hours later, a belly full of food, a few animal pats and feeds, and four little kids that ran off as much energy as they could, we finally left to head back home😁

This is the bearded dragon in all its attractions. A great spot to end the day with picturesque views, extremely hospitable staff and plenty of photo opportunities, activities for kids and good vibes. We will be definitely making the bearded dragon an on the way home waypoint, for any future gold coast travels.

👉Located Just a short, scenic 40-50 minute drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast, Following Tambourine mountain road, you surely won't miss it!

A leisurely morning bush walk up to J.C Slaughter falls, this morning. Falls were a little low on water, but still very beautiful none the less, after our walk we stopped in for lunch at the summit cafe while enjoying the clear blue sky post the recent storms and the view of overlooking Brisbane city💞

Half way through our walk, "mum, I need to go to the toliet" alright mate hold on a little while longer and we will head back up shortly, after 10 minutes of hearing how bad miss G is busting, she turns around with all that sass, "oh mum can't you just gps where that toliet is, and get me their quicker"🙊

The things these kids come out with! 😅🤣

We couldn't imagine seeing and doing all we do, without our children. Their huge personalities, all making each adventure all the more enjoyable, comical like today and memorable 🥰


J.c falls circuit is an easy to moderate walk, a few steps and reasonable steep inclines, but nothing that our two eldest (9yrs and 5yrs) wasn't able to manage, miss three took the easy route and dad carried her😅
Approximately 30 -40minutee from the carpark to the falls, with a few stops along the way.
*Wouldn't advise this track for a wheelchair or pram.
