טוב להדליק נר לעילוי נשמתו ולהגיד פרק תהילם-
ולבקש מבורא העולם שבזכות הצדיק יהיה לנו ישועות
אמר רבי מאיר בעל הנס:
מפני מה תינוק בא לעולם כשידיו קפוצות (לאגרופים) וכשאדם נפטר מן העולם ידיו פשוטות?
אלא כשבא אומר "רוצה אני לאחוז ולתפוס את הכל!"
וכשיוצא מה הוא אומר? "לא נחלתי מהעולם הזה כלום"...
