Carpool is available for those that do not wish to drive, and we can also hire out camping equipment to those that require it.

We recently welcomed a new group of students from O-Week down to the airfield for their first taste of gliding. From pre-flight briefings to stepping into the cockpit, it was the beginning of an unforgettable journey into the world of gliding.

Our instructors are here to guide you every step of the way. No experience needed, just curiosity and a sense of adventure.

Volunteers Wanted – O’Week & Air Experience Days

Our biggest recruitment event of the year is coming up, and we’d love your help.

We’re looking for volunteers to assist at our Adelaide University O’Week Sports Village booth from Monday 16 to Thursday 19 February, 10am–2pm (bump-in from 8am).

We also need support for our Air Experience Days on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February, including carpool drivers, qualified winch drivers, and instructors. Please note that regular training flights may be limited on these days.

🌤️✨ Khancoban Camp Recap! ✈️🏔️
We’ve just wrapped up an incredible week of gliding in Khancoban, Southern NSW — escaping drizzly Adelaidem, soaring over valleys, mountains, and some of the most stunning scenery Australia has to offer. Huge thanks to everyone who came along and made it an unforgettable trip!

With the weather warming up and the soaring season kicking into gear, now’s the perfect time to get involved. Whether you’ve flown before or you’re brand new to the sport, there’s no better moment to take to the skies.

Stonefield Aviation Association has completed construction of the clubhouse veranda with the financial support of a Mid Murray Council grant. The veranda has been erected by club volunteers over the last six months.

The club would like to thank Mid Murray Council, Stonefield Aviation Association, Club members and the CFS for their support in bringing this project to fruition. This addition will make summer more bearable at Stonefield!
