Nobody gets four generations deep in the cutting horse business by accident. It takes a granddad who started with nothing but a good mare and a stubborn streak.

A son or daughter who caught the fever watching from the fence.

Grandkids who learned to ride before they learned to write their names.

We do business the way we breed horses: thinking two, three, four generations down the road.

Because the real payoff isn't tomorrow's winnings check.

It's a little girl in braids and boots, showing a horse her great-granddad would've been proud of.

July was a pretty decent month,

BA managed to sneak to darling downs cutting futurity just for a day trip, unfortunately due to work commitments we couldn't compete in the age events but showed in the open nonpro and snagged a 2nd place on STRACHOS FIFTYSHADESOFREY and just out of the placing on our 3rd old futurity mare BADD TALKIN COUGAR,

Followed up last weekend at Killarney cutting with another couple of day trips and BA ended up with a 4th in the Novice nonpro on the Friday then snuck back up in the early hours Sunday for RL to snag a 2nd place in the youth on Spoonful Of Tijuana (special thanks to the Jennings family)
Than later in the day dad and daughter showed in the open nonpro together for BADD TALKIN COUGAR and BA to secure 3rd and STRACHOS FIFTYSHADESOFREY and RL to snag equal 4th placing,
Couldn't be happier with our horses and a special thank you to Lincoln Veraart Cutting Horses for being a great coach and super supportive team to be a part of helping us improve every showing,

First go-round of the NCHA Non Pro Futurity in Tamworth.
Looking absolutely CENsational and giving us plenty to be excited about.

It's incredibly rewarding to see the hard work paying off with a horse we've bred, raised and trained ourselves.
