A lovely way to start the morning ☀️

Today began with a school run — assisting a young boy safely to his local school here on the Redcliffe Peninsula. A calm pick-up, a friendly chat along the way, and a confident arrival ready for the day ahead.

At Driving Miss Daisy Redcliffe Peninsula, we do more than transport. We provide reliable, relationship-based support for families who need consistency, safety and genuine care — whether it’s school drop-offs, medical appointments, community access or social outings.

For NDIS participants, older Australians, and families juggling busy schedules, we’re here to make getting out into the community easier and less stressful.

It’s always a privilege to play a small part in someone’s day — especially when it starts with a smile 😊

Recently we had a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

We had the pleasure of taking two lovely women on a personalised day out around Brisbane and the surrounds — including port pick-up, a planned itinerary, plenty of laughs, and lots of care along the way.

It’s more than just transport. It’s about connection, confidence, and enjoying the journey together.

Thank you to all those who have served.

At the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month, we pause to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served our country.

It’s a time to reflect not only on the past, but also on the values of resilience, community and care that continue to guide us today. Many of us remember attending services with school or family, wearing our poppies with pride and standing together in silence.

At Driving Miss Daisy, we believe in the power of connection and remembrance, ensuring that the stories and sacrifices of our servicemen and women are never forgotten.
