A lovely trip out to Miles, Queensland 🚙

Ian recently had the pleasure of taking one of our clients and their family on a trip to Miles — a great opportunity to enjoy the journey as well as the destination.

🐦 Driving Miss Daisy… or should that be Driving Miss Birdie? 😂

Michelle had a very specific sightseeing request today — a trip out to Inala to see Thrush Street and Swallow Street.

But once Ian and Michelle got there, they discovered Inala apparently has enough bird-named streets to keep a Daisy busy for quite some time! 🐦🦜

So what started as a quick look at Thrush and Swallow turned into a bit of an impromptu bird-street safari.

And naturally, no expedition is complete without lunch — fried rice and beef pho 🍜🥢

Another wonderfully random day with Driving Miss Daisy Redcliffe Peninsula: a little sightseeing, a lot of laughs, and proof that sometimes the best outings are the ones you’d never find in a tourist guide. 💙🌼

When your client spots a truck that says "BEN MOVES BRISBANE"... you just have to stop for a photo! 😄

Our lovely holiday guest from South Australia couldn't resist when we came across this truck during one of our outings.

Of course, the "Ben" in question is Ben from Driving Miss Daisy Adelaide, who entrusted us with looking after her while she enjoyed her Queensland holiday.

We may not have moved Brisbane, but we were delighted to help her explore it safely, comfortably and with plenty of laughs along the way.

That's one of the wonderful things about being part of the Driving Miss Daisy family. No matter where your travels take you, there's often another Daisy ready to welcome you.

A warm welcome starts before the journey begins. 😊

Ian was at the airport to meet Michelle, who is visiting from interstate and is visually impaired. A simple personalised sign made it easy for her to find him and took the stress out of arriving.

Over the next month, Ian will be Michelle’s companion driver, helping her enjoy her holiday with safe, reliable and caring transport.

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. 💜

A lovely way to start the morning ☀️

Today began with a school run — assisting a young boy safely to his local school here on the Redcliffe Peninsula. A calm pick-up, a friendly chat along the way, and a confident arrival ready for the day ahead.

At Driving Miss Daisy Redcliffe Peninsula, we do more than transport. We provide reliable, relationship-based support for families who need consistency, safety and genuine care — whether it’s school drop-offs, medical appointments, community access or social outings.

For NDIS participants, older Australians, and families juggling busy schedules, we’re here to make getting out into the community easier and less stressful.

We had the pleasure of taking two lovely women on a personalised day out around Brisbane and the surrounds — including port pick-up, a planned itinerary, plenty of laughs, and lots of care along the way.

It’s more than just transport. It’s about connection, confidence, and enjoying the journey together.
