🚚💦 BREAKING NEWS: I Finally Got Photos… But I Paid the Ultimate Price (Cold Water).

It’s been a long time since I’ve received any photos from the team.
And by “long,” I mean I’m starting to suspect they’ve all entered the GNR Witness Protection Program — new identities, new locations, zero photographic evidence they even work here.

So today, when the owners (yes — my brothers, for anyone new here) were at the depot doing maintenance on the trucks, I saw my chance.
Camera out.
Truck mid‑wash.
Sun shining.
Perfect content moment.

Apparently they disagreed.

Because the second I started taking photos, I was met with a full‑force hose attack.
No warning.
No hesitation.
Just straight-up “stop taking photos of me” energy.
I’m pretty sure one of them smiled while doing it, too.

But hey — I got the photos.
And if getting blasted like a stray cat is what it takes to get content around here, then I’ll take the hit.

Maybe this will guilt the team into sending me photos from their actual jobs again.
(Probably not. But hope is free.)

Which is great timing, because the next few weeks are stacked:
🟦 Next week: Big QLD run — four days, lots of kilometres, lots of snacks
🟩 Week after: A Young job heading back to the Hunter Valley with multiple local jobs.
🟧 Last week of May: A large Lake Macquarie job heading out near Dubbo

At least the office will be quiet while everyone else is out racking up more kilometres than my inbox has unread emails.

In the meantime, enjoy these rare, freshly captured photos of a truck getting pampered — taken moments before I was aggressively rinsed for my efforts.

🚚 Two Weeks Post‑Easter and We Haven’t Stopped Moving

It’s been a very busy couple of weeks since the Easter long weekend — the trucks haven’t had a chance to cool down. We’ve been flat out completing removals for a mix of new customers and some of our favourite repeat customers.

We always love catching up with the familiar faces who trust us time and time again. It’s one of the best parts of the job.

And we’re not slowing down yet…

Tomorrow is another big day with 3 trucks and 4 men heading out to complete a delivery into a tri‑storey home in Wangi. Yes you read that correctly just the delivery will take the entire day. Big house, big day, big coffees and thankfully it's my day off 🙂But I am sure I will hear all about their big day on Monday 😆

If you’re planning a move soon, local or interstate, we’re here and rolling — just maybe don’t ask the team how many stairs they’ve climbed this week. 😂

🐣 Easter Update from the GNR Crew 🐣

The long weekend is nearly here! And we’re definitely not counting down… even though the office clock has slowed to half‑speed, we’ve checked the time 47 times already this morning, and we still have an entire day tomorrow standing between us and freedom.

And after the Great Office Tech Meltdown of 2026 — a battle in which the printer won every round — we will be taking a short break before it challenges us again. And let’s be honest… this won’t be the last meltdown of the year.

A reminder that we’ll be closed on Friday the 3rd April and Monday the 6th April so the office team can recover from the chaos, and our truck crews can finally enjoy a break they’ve more than earned after a huge run of moves.

We are all back on-board Tuesday the 7th April, but the short week means availability is tight, so reach out early if you are planning to move next week.

🚨 Monday Morning Office Update 🚨

Walked into the office today feeling semi‑prepared to be a functioning adult…
Printer took one look at me and said “absolutely not.”

So now, instead of printing from our main computer like a normal workplace, we’re running everything through the backup computer — which is basically the office equivalent of using a potato with WiFi.

If anyone needs me, I’ll be in the corner questioning my life choices and Googling “jobs that don’t involve printers, computers, or Mondays.”

Is it the long weekend yet.
Please.
Anyone.
Send help or chocolate 😩

We’re back with our Tip Tuesday series! 📦🔥

This weeks tip is ….

Label your boxes… with actual words.

Not guesses. Not cryptic clues. Not whatever your 2am packing brain thought was “close enough.”

Because when you write “Misc stuff”, what you’re actually doing is summoning a demon. Not a terrifying one — just the petty kind that hides your kettle cord and giggles while you unravel a box of tangled cables belonging to every TV you own and regret every decision you’ve ever made.

Let’s break it down. A box labelled “Misc” could contain:
• The TV remote you accused three different people of losing
• The batteries you swore you didn’t have
• A phone charger for a phone you had in high school
• A single Allen key that belongs to no known piece of furniture
• The kitchen scissors that magically disappear whenever you need them
• Or your entire will to live

Opening a “Misc” box is like shaking a Magic 8 Ball, except the answer is always: “Good luck, idiot.”

So please — for the love of your sanity and ours — label your boxes properly.

Write what’s inside. Be specific. Be brave.
Your future self will thank you.
Your movers will thank you.
And your unpacking experience will feel less like a psychological thriller.

🚚 QLD Trip Wrap‑Up: Featuring Two Trucks, Zero Staff Sightings & One Very Photogenic Pool 🌈💦🥐

Our latest interstate run to Queensland is officially done and dusted — and you’ll be pleased to know the boys finally sent photos.

You’ll be less pleased to know they somehow managed to avoid being in a single one.

Instead, we received:
📸 The truck on the side of the road
📸 The bakery they “accidentally” found
📸 The servo where both the trucks and their snack stash were refuelled.
📸 A video of the motel pool
📸 A stunning rainbow over said pool
📸 And, eventually, proof of actual work — unloading at a container yard

It’s almost like they were on a sightseeing tour… with a removal truck.

Still no confirmation on whether they actually went in the pool or just admired it like it was a national landmark.

But judging by the enthusiasm for pool content, we have our suspicions.

Meanwhile, the trucks clocked up the kilometres, the jobs got done, and the customers were sorted — just another week in the world of interstate removals.

And yes, we saw the fuel prices too.
Did we cry a little at the servo? Maybe.
Do we stop going to Queensland? Absolutely not.

Whether you’re moving to QLD or from QLD, we’re still rolling, still lifting, still delivering, and still collecting questionable photo evidence from the team.

If you’re planning an interstate move, we’ve got you covered — rainbow views and bakery recommendations included.

🚚 Caught … at the depot 😎📸

You’ll all be pleased to know that I've got photos of the boys loading a truck — and for once, I didn’t have to chase them, bribe them, or threaten to confiscate their servo snacks.

Why?
Because they were loading at the depot…
Which means there was absolutely no way for them to escape the camera this time.
Zero. None. Trapped like wildlife in a documentary.

Today’s mission: loading a job heading to Singleton first thing tomorrow morning.
The truck’s ready, the boys are pretending they don’t see me taking photos, and everything is running like a well‑oiled machine (plus a bit of eye‑rolling and forced participation from the team, but that’s standard).

If only every photo op was this easy.

🚚 QLD Bound!
Our interstate team hit the road early this morning after loading two big jobs yesterday — and they’ve smashed through the first leg like absolute pros.

Tonight’s update: the boys have pulled up at a motel for the night… and they FINALLY took photos!

Which means I didn’t have to chase them all the way to Queensland just to get proof they’re actually working 😅

Two jobs loaded ✔️
Highway run done ✔️
Photos taken without me stalking them across state lines ✔️

Once they’re back, we’ve got a full local day on Friday, then loading out of our storage and heading out to Singleton on Saturday, and a well‑earned Sunday off before we do it all again next week.

If you’re planning a move — local or interstate — we’ve got the team, the trucks, and now apparently photographic evidence too.

🚚 BREAKING NEWS: Removalists spotted in the wild!

On my drive to work this morning, I stumbled across a rare sight — one of our teams actually out in the open, loading up for a big interstate run to Queensland. Since the boys have been extremely slack with sending photos lately, I took this as my golden opportunity to grab some evidence myself 😅

Today’s mission: a two‑part pickup at Blackalls Park and Toronto before heading North to QLD. And this is just the start — we’ve got multiple trucks and teams heading to QLD this week for interstate removals. Big week, big kilometres… and with diesel prices spiking again, the trucks are drinking better than we are.

But hey, that’s the life of a removalist — long hauls, big loads, and apparently zero photos unless I physically chase them down.

If you’re planning a move (local or interstate), jump onto our website for a fast quote. We’ll handle the heavy lifting, the logistics, and the fuel bill… you just handle the unpacking and the celebratory takeaway dinner.
